O Lord, our God, Thy death hath bestowed life; Thy resurrection hath brought us the resurrection. Through Thee we are made to live in hope. Amen.
Да веселѧ́тсѧ нбⷭ҇наѧ, да ра́дꙋютсѧ земна̑ѧ: ꙗ҆́кѡ сотворѝ держа́вꙋ мы́шцею свое́ю гдⷭ҇ь, попра̀ сме́ртїю сме́рть, пе́рвенецъ ме́ртвыхъ бы́сть, и҆з̾ чре́ва а҆́дова и҆зба́ви на́съ, и҆ подадѐ мі́рови ве́лїю млⷭ҇ть.
Let the heavenly ones rejoice, let the earth dwellers be glad: For with His mighty arm the Lord hath slain death by death, the firstborn of the dead, and from the bosom of hell delivered us, and gave to mankind great mercy.

Тѧ̀ хода́тайствовавшꙋю сп҃се́нїе ро́да на́шегѡ, воспѣва́емъ бцⷣе дв҃о: пло́тїю бо ѿ тебѐ воспрїѧ́тою сн҃ъ тво́й, и҆ бг҃ъ на́шъ, крⷭ҇то́мъ воспрїи́мъ стрⷭ҇ть, и҆зба́ви на́съ ѿ тлѝ ꙗ҆́кѡ чл҃вѣколю́бецъ.
Thou, O Theotokos, who intercedest for the salvation of our race, we magnify Thee with two voices: for by Thy pure body we have received the Spirit, and from Thee, O God our Saviour, we have taken to receive strength, and deliver us from the venom of the lover of mankind.
