Risuscita, Thvoe Jesus Christ, enlightening all the universe and calling to thee thy creation: O almighty Lord, glory be to thee.

With the Tree of Life thou didst make void,
O Lord, from the tree of curses,
the power and dominion of death by thy death thou didst destroy;
thou didst enlighten our race by thy rising.

Therefore we cry to thee:
O Giver of Life, Jesus Christ,
Glory be to thee.

At thy conception, O Virgin, the Lord was fastened, and changed thy purity of body: and without man's nature didst thou bear warriors showing, with spear piercing thy ribs; but the Jews sealed the tomb, knowing not thy power. But for thy womb's sake, O Virgin, received burial, and on the third day didst thou rise again, O Glory of the Father.

Lord Jesus Christ, who of Thy will didst endure the death of men, and having descended into hell with a mighty power, there didst await the coming of Thine own, and by might from the strong bonds thou didst give life in place of death. Therefore, for us praising Thy three-day resurrection, grant us cleansing from sins and great mercy.

Glory to the new wonder of all ancient wonders! For who hath known the Mother without a Man born, and bearing upon her hand, containing the whole creation; she is indeed the Willingness, born by choice. Whose heart thou didst read with thine hands carrying, and the holy boldness towards Him giving, cease not praying for them that invoke thee, to show mercy and to raise up our souls.
