Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!
Hast Thou come from the heavens, not by an angel, but Thyself hast been incarnate, and didst suffer all things for man. Therefore call thee: Glory to Thy power, O Lord.
Thou standest before the judgment seat, O my Judge, Lord; I dare not cry Master, for the judgment is by word: by Thy own Word didst Thou effect salvation for all the world.
By Thy holy Incarnation, O Enemy hast thou provoked weapons, but by thy descent into Hell with Thy contravention, cities have been destroyed, and the pride of the tyrant hath been cast down.
O Theotokos,
Thou, O Theotokos, our steadfast refuge and immovable wall, Lady: by thy prayers thou deliverest our souls from every tribulation.

And He
Irimos:
By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal we are glorified;
For Thou, O Lord, hast created us for Thyself,
And to Thee, our Maker and Giver of Life, we give thanks.
Through life Thou didst redeem us,
And by the power of Thy Right Hand,
Thou didst raise us up from the depths of death.
Therefore, with compunction of heart,
We cry to Thee, O Lord:
Glory to Thee, O Christ!
Glory to Thy Holy Spirit!
Glory to Him who came down from heaven
And dwelleth on high;
Glory to Him who is God and Life,
Who has appeared as Man for our salvation.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
Now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Seeing upon the wood fixed thereon Thy Two Who were born without taint of sin, O Mother-bearer, Thou didst endure the pains of sickness for the sake of our salvation.
Conquered hath death, the grave doth enfold the gates of hell: for, having rent asunder all the teeth, more than by nature given to all have I received.
And Thee, O Lord.
All hath exalted the holy mountain of the Lord beyond strength, most gloriously by God.
Thou hast received the divine calling, O Theotokos, save alone among the creatures born to rule over thy creation.
