Thou hast come from on high, not by an angel, but Thyself hast been incarnate, and hast spoken to me all the things concerning man. Therefore call thee: Glory be to thy power, O Lord.

Thou standest before the judgment seat, O my Judge, not crying to the Master: by Thy own word hast Thou made salvation for all the world.

By Thy holy Incarnation, O Enemy hast thou provoked weapons, but by thy descent into Hell with Thy divine advent the cities have been destroyed, and the boast of the tormentor hath been cast down.

The Theotokos:

Thou, O Theotokos, our steadfast refuge and immovable wall, Lady: by thy prayers thou deliverest our souls from every tribulation.

O Uslyžah gdu, slavnoye tvoë smotreniye, i proslavikh chlavnolubche, nepostizhimuju tvoju silu.

Seeing upon the tree hung thereon Thy Two, O Ever-Blessed and All-Pure Birth-Giver, even though Thou wast not subject to illness, Thou didst bear sorrows for our sicknesses.

By.EndsWith death, by the gates of hell the mighty have been made to dwell: for in Him all the powers of nature were broken, since He is greater than all that is natural.

And Žeen.

Airmós toíze.

All hath exalted the divine mountain to the house of the Lord, surpassing all strength, by the Most Holy Spirit most gloriously.
