Hast thou come from the heavens, not by prayer nor by angel, but thyself hast been incarnate, and hath spoken to me all of man. Therefore call thee: glory to thy power on high.
Thou standest before the judgment seat, O my Judge, not crying to the Master: by Thy own word hast Thou made salvation for all the world.
By Thy holy Incarnation, O Enemy hast thou provoked weapons, but by thy descent into Hell with Thy divine Power, cities have been destroyed, and the boast of Tyrants hath been cast down.
O Theotokos,
Thou, O Theotokos, our steadfast refuge and immovable wall, Lady: by Thy prayers Thou deliverest our souls from every tribulation.

O Lord, I have heard Thy glorious vision, and have glorified Thee, O Lover of mankind, Thy incomprehensible power.
Seeing upon the wood fixed thereon Thyself, O Jesus Christ, born without pain, the Mother of God endured bodily sufferings.

All hath exalted the holy mountain into the house of the Lord, surpassing all strength, by the Most Holy Spirit most devoutly.
Thou hast received the divine calling, O Theotokos, save alone among the works of nature, having brought forth by Thyself the ruling creation.
