Thou hast come from above, not by angel, but Thyself hast been incarnate, and didst speak to all mankind. Therefore dost Thou call thee: Glory to thy might, O Lord.

Thou standest before the judgment seat, O my Judge, Lord; I cry not to Master, for the judgment is passed by thy language: by thine own word didst thou make salvation for all the world.

By Thy holy Incarnation, O Enemy hast thou been made a spectacle, and by thy descent into Hell with Thy advent, cities have fallen, and the pride of the tyrant hath been cast down.

O Theotokos,

Thou, O Theotokos, our steadfast refuge and immovable wall, Lady: by thy prayers thou deliverest our souls from every tribulation.

And He

O Lord, I have heard Thy glorious vision, and have glorified Thee, O Lover of mankind, Thy incomprehensible power.

Having seen upon the tree Thee, O Mother of God, hanging thereon nailed two, though Thou, Oainless Born, didst suffer sicknesses.

And.

Airmós toíze.

All hath exalted the holy mountain of the Lord beyond strength, most gloriously by God.

Thou hast received the divine calling, O Theotokos, save alone among the works of nature, having brought forth by Thyself the Ruler of creation.
