In the depths of repentance and fasting, Pharaoh's mighty host, the manifestation of the all-ensnaring sin in word and deed, demanded to be, blessed be He who is glorified, glorified. For He has glorified Himself.

Heavenly Prince, nearest to Thee, whom we have written, having not obeyed Thy commandments, by Thy judgment Thou shalt be condemned: Thou shalt be cut off because of sin; and Thou shalt fall from the power of Thy dominion, and shalt be made weak.

Saviour of the race of mankind, and Prince of the imperishable life didst come into the world: by thy Resurrection thou hast rent asunder death's bonds, O Glorious One; for gloriously hast thou been glorified.

O Theotokos,

Exceeding all the times thou didst pray with thine own lips, O Theotokos, both visible and invisible creatures: for Thou hast brought forth the Life, that Thou mightest incarnate Him in thy womb; wherefore with boldness we beseech Thy soul, descend upon our souls.

The second canon of the Cross-Resurrection.

Notrenu, neobychnu, nemokrennu moruskuyu shествовалъ izbraennyi voipyashe Iisil': gdjevy poimъ, gakh proslasvisya.

Strength of the weak, resurrection of the fallen, and incorruptibility of them that have fallen asleep, Thou wast fashioned by Thy flesh: That Thou mightest be glorified.

And in the temple of the Lord, the Theotokos stood.

Psalm and Irmos of this tone.

(Translation to be provided if needed, following the rules.)

Not in vain did the ancient ladder stand, and the stranger, having frozen the way of death, by thy guidance led us to the reading thereof, whereunto we all cry out: For glory.

Power on high, O holy dwelling, God's wisdom, incarnate beyond nature, and by Thee, O Lord, man hath conversed that He might glorify.

Having passed through the unpassable door, encompassed by thy innermost bowels, the sun of righteousness shining and the world in prayer: Thus shalt thou shine forth.
