Irimos:
By life alone we are saved,
And by death destroyed;
For our life is death to Thee,
And Thy death is life for us.

In the depths of the hidden, Pharaoh's mighty and warlike power, having taken on the flesh, the all-ensnaring sin required to be brought low, the Blessed Lord, for He shall be glorified.
Heavenly Prince, nearest to Thee, whom we have written, having not obeyed Thy commandments, by Thy judgment Thou wilt condemn us: for Thou wilt smite us as unto death; and Thou wilt cast down from power our strength, and we shall be made weak.
Savior of the race of mankind, and Prince of the imperishable life hath come into the world: by thy Resurrection, thou hast rent asunder death's foul bonds, O Glorious in praise: for gloriously hast thou been glorified.
O Theotokos,
Transcending all times, Thou hast appeared in the flesh, O Lord, both visible and invisible creatures: for Thou didst cause the Virgin to bring forth, that by Thy good will Thou mightest be incarnate in her womb; with boldness we pray Thee, descend upon our souls.
The second canon of the Cross-Resurrection.
Irimos:
By life alone we are saved,
And by death destroyed;
For life is from Thee, O Lord,
And death came into being through our transgression.
Through the intercessions of Thy Martyrs and Confessors,
May we be counted worthy to attain unto Thee.
Thou didst create man in Thine image,
And gave him dominion over all creation;
But he fell by his own will,
And brought upon himself and us the curse of death.
By the grace of Thy mercy, O Lord,
We beseech Thee to forgive our transgressions
And grant us repentance and new life.
For Thou art the Life-giving Source,
From Whom all life flows;
And by Thy Cross and Resurrection,
Thou hast conquered death and given us eternal life.
Through the prayers of Thy Saints, O Lord,
Have mercy upon us and keep us in Thy saving embrace.
Notrenu, neobychnu, nemokrennu moreskuju shest' vopijashe Iiil': gdjevy poim', gakh proslasvis'.
Strength of the weak, Resurrection of the fallen, and Immaculate of those who have fallen asleep, Thou wast manifested, O Lord, by thy fleshly tabernacle: That we may glorify Thee.
And in the temple of the Lord, the Theotokos stood.
Psalm and Irmos thereof.
Not in vain did the ancient ladder stand, and the stranger who froze the path of death, Thy Word readeth us, wherewith we sing all: For Thou hast glorified.
Power on high, O holy dwelling, God's wisdom, incarnate beyond thought, and by Thee, O Lord, man hath conversed that He might glorify.
Having passed through the unpassable door, encompassed by thy innermost bowels, the sun of righteousness shining and the world in prayer: Thus shalt thou be glorified.
