O Soul/Spirit, being led captive by the enemy, groan in travail of heart, for thou art a creature of God and hast been made free; yet thou art taken again into captivity by the deceiver, who worketh deceit upon thee. Therefore, with compunction of heart, cry to the Lord: O Lord, save Thy servant!

In the depths of the hidden, Pharaonic might, arrayed in all its warlike power, brought forth by the embodiment of the all-sinful word, the profaned Lord, for He shall be glorified. For He is glorious and shall be glorified.

Heavenly King, to whom we have written, because thou hast not hearkened to thy commandments, by thy judgment thou shalt be judged: for thou shalt be cut off as one dead; and thy power shall fall, and the weak shalt thou be made manifest.

Savior of the human race, and ruler of the imperishable life hath come into the world: by thy Resurrection thou hast rent asunder death's foul veils, O Thou who art glorified by all: for Thou hast been glorified with great glory.

O Theotokos,

Transcending all times Thou hast appeared, O Virgin, in the pure womb of Thy purity: for by Thine own good will didst Thou conceive Him Who is to be born in the morning of Thy virginal bosom; therefore with boldness we pray Thee, let down our souls.

The second canon of the Cross-Resurrection.

O Soul/Spirit, in compunction of heart we cry to Thee:
unto Thee we lift up our soul,
that Thou wouldst vouchsafe to deign to hear us,
for Thou art the Life, and without Thee there is no life.
Through Thee we are saved from sudden death;
by Thee we are delivered from spiritual delusion.
For Thou art ever our Guide and Leader,
and in Thee we find rest and peace.

Notrenu, neobychnu, nemokrennu morskuyu shest'u, izbrany voipyashe Iisil': gdjevyi poim', gakh proslavisis'.

Strength of the weak, Resurrection of the fallen, and Incorruptibility of them that have fallen asleep, Thou art, O Lord, by thy fleshly tabernacle: That thou mightest be glorified.

If Thou wilt, O Saviour, be thou pleased to have mercy upon the fallen image, and to raise up the crucified with life, co-Worker of God, and renew him that hath died in all who are made alive: For Thy glory.

And in the temple of the Lord, the Theotokos stood.

Psalm and Irmos thereof.

(Note: The text provided is a title or identifier for a Psalm and its irmos in Church Slavonic, indicating that the following would be the content of a specific Psalm and its corresponding hymn in the liturgical service.)

Not in vain did the ancient ladder stand, and the stranger frozen on the way to death, by Thy word was roused from sleep, wherefore we sing to Thee all: As Thou hast shown.

O Power on high, O perfected dwelling, O God's wisdom incarnate, from Thee we speak to men that they may glorify.

Having passed through the door that is not to be entered, encompassing thy inward parts, the sun of righteousness rising and finding thee in the world: Thus shalt thou shine forth.
