Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнь) and we have no life (жизни) without Thee; Thou art the Light of our eyes (глаза), and in darkness we see nothing. Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

In the depths of the veil, Pharaonic might, arrayed in all its warrior power, having taken on flesh, the word of all-merciful sin was made to be, profaned by the Lord, for He shall be glorified.

Heavenly Prince, to whom we have written, since thou hast not hearkened to thy commandments, by thy judgment thou shalt be judged: for thou shalt be cut off as one dead; and thou shalt fall under the power of thy authority, being made weak and naked.

Savior of the race of mankind, and Prince of the imperishable life hath come into the world: by thy Resurrection, thou hast rent asunder death's foul bonds, O Glorious in praise: for gloriously hast thou been glorified.

O Theotokos,

Exceeding all thy reading praiseworthy, O Virgin, both visible and invisible creatures: for thou didst bring forth the Life-giver, that He might be incarnate in thy womb; with boldness we pray thee, send down our souls unto repose.

The second canon of the Cross-Resurrection.

Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

Notrenu, neobychnu, nemokrennu morskuyu shествовалъ stezyu, izbrany voipyashe iil: gdjevy poim, gakh proslavisya.

Strength of the weak, Resurrection of the fallen, and Incorruptibility of them that have fallen asleep, Thou art, O Lord, by Thy fleshly tabernacle: That Thou mightest be glorified.

And in the throne of the Theotokos, the King sits.

Not in vain did the ancient ladder stand, and the stranger, having frozen the way of death, by Thy word didst call to life, O Reader, whom we all sing: For Thy glory.

O Power on high, O perfected wilderness, O God's wisdom incarnate, from Thee we speak to men that they may glorify.

Having passed through the unpassable door, encompassed by thy inner chambers, O Sun of Righteousness, thou hast risen and shone upon the world: thus shalt thou be glorified.
