Irimos:

Thou, O Lord, hast created man in Thine own image and after Thine own likeness;
and Thou didst desire to dwell with him.
But when he transgressed Thy commandments,
he became a stranger from Thee, and was cast out of the kingdom of glory.

Thou didst not leave him utterly desolate,
but didst send forth upon earth the Only Begotten Son of Thine,
that He might redeem those whom Thou hadst created.
He came down from heaven's heights
and took upon Him a mortal body;
He suffered death for our sakes, and was buried.

But on the third day, Thou didst raise Him up to life again,
bestowing upon us Thy grace and mercy.
Thou hast given unto us the gift of faith,
that we might believe in Thee and be saved.

Therefore, let us with compunction of heart
and with true repentance, cry aloud:
Glory to Thee, O Lord, our God;
to Thee alone be glory, together with Thy Only Begotten Son,
and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages.

In the depths of the veil and often, Pharaoh's mighty army, girded with the power of the all-ensnaring sin, brought forth the word of the all-holy guilt, profaned the Lord, for He shall be glorified.

Heavenly Prince, to whom we have written, having not hearkened to Thy commandments, by Thy judgment Thou shalt be judged: for Thou shalt be drawn near unto death; and Thou shalt fall under the power of Thy authority, being made weak and naked.

Savior of the human race, and Prince of the imperishable life hath come into the world: by thy Resurrection thou hast rent asunder death's bonds, O Glorious One; for gloriously hast thou been glorified.

O Theotokos,

Transcending all times, Thou hast appeared in the flesh, O Virgin, both visible and invisible creatures: for Thou didst bring forth the Life-giver, that He might be incarnate in Thy womb; with boldness we pray Thee, O Spirit, to descend upon our souls.

The second canon of the Cross-Resurrection.

Irimos:

Thou, O Lord, hast created man in Thine own image and after Thy likeness;
and Thou didst form him to have dominion over all the works of Thine hands,
that he might dwell in peace and righteousness.

But because of sin, man hath fallen into destruction and death.
Therefore, we pray Thee, O God, to forgive us our transgressions
and to grant us repentance unto life eternal.

Notrenu, neobychnu, nemokrennu morskuyu shestiovavъ stize', izbrany voipyashe Iiil': gdjevy poimъ, gakh proslavisya.

Strength of the weak, resurrection of the fallen, and incorruptible of them that are fallen asleep, Thou wast made manifest, O Lord, by Thy flesh with thy own fashioning: That Thou mightest be glorified.

And in the temple of the Lord, the Theotokos stood.

Psalm and Irmos thereof.

Not in vain did the ancient ladder stand, and the stranger frozen on the way to death, by Thy guidance reached the salvation of reading, wherein we all sing: For Thou hast glorified.

Omighty Power on high, O perfect dwelling, O God's wisdom incarnate, from Thee we speak to men that they may glorify.

Having passed through the unpassable door, encompassed by thy innermost bowels, the sun of righteousness shining and the world in prayer: Thus shalt thou shine forth.
