I will love You, Lord, my fortress. The Lord is my strength, and my refuge, and my Savior, my God, my Helper, and I trust in Him, my Defender, and the horn of my salvation, and my Advocate. With praise I will call on the Lord and I will be saved from my enemies. Mortal diseases have overcome me, and the floods of iniquity have crushed me, the diseases of hell have consumed me, having preceded me to the snares of death. And when I was in sorrow, I called on the Lord, and I cried to my God, hearing my voice from the church of His Holy One, and my cry before Him would come into His ears. And the earth moved and trembled, and the foundations of the mountains were shaken and moved, as if God was angry with her. The smoke of His wrath will come up, and the fire will kindle from His presence; coals will kindle from Him. And bow the heavens, and those below, and the darkness under His feet. And we mount the Cherubim, and fly, fly on the wing of the wind. And cover His darkness, surrounding His village, dark waters in the clouds of the air. From the shedding of clouds before Him came clouds, hail, and coals of fire.
And the Lord and the Most High will roar from heaven and give His voice. I sent down arrows and dispersed them, and multiplied lightnings and caused confusion. And the springs of water appeared, and the foundations of the world were revealed, because of Thy rebuke, O Lord, because of the inspiration of the spirit of Thy wrath. She sent down from on high, and received me; they took me from many waters. He will deliver me from my powerful enemies and from those who hate me, for she has become stronger than me. He anticipated me in the day of my embarrassment, and the Lord was my confirmation. And he will bring me out into the wideness; he will deliver me, as he willed me. And the Lord will reward me according to my righteousness and will reward me according to the purity of my hand. For I have kept the ways of the Lord and have not acted wickedly from my God. For His whole destiny is before me and His justification does not depart from me. And I will be blameless with Him, and I will be preserved from my iniquity. And the Lord will reward me according to my righteousness and according to my purity, my hand before His eyes. With the venerable you will be like, and with the innocent you will be innocent, and with the chosen you will be chosen, and with the obstinate you will be corrupted.
For You have saved humble people and humbled the eyes of the proud. For You have enlightened my lamp, O Lord my God, enlighten my darkness. For through You I will get rid of temptation and through my God I will cross the wall. My God, His way is blameless, the words of the Lord are kindled, He is the Protector of all those who trust in Him. For who is God, other than the Lord? or who is God except our God? God gird me with strength, and make my way blameless. Make my noses like trees, and place me on high. Train my hands for battle, and thou hast laid down the bow of my arm. And You have given me the protection of salvation, and Your right hand will receive me, and Your punishment will correct me in the end, and Your punishment will teach me. Thou hast enlarged my feet under me, and my feet are not weary. I will marry my enemies, and I will suffer, and will not return until they die. I will insult them, and they will not be able to stand, they will fall under my feet. And you girded me with strength for battle, you slept all those who rose up against me under me. And you gave me a backbone to my enemies, and you consumed those who hated me.
You cried, and did not save: to the Lord, and did not hear them. And I will crumble like dust before the wind, like I will smooth out the clay of the paths. Deliver me from the bickering of people, put me at the head of the tongues. People who don’t know who work with us. Listen to me in the ear of your ear. The sons of strangers lied to me. The sons of strangers have vowed and are lame from their paths. As the Lord lives, and blessed is God, and may the God of my salvation be exalted. God grant me vengeance and subjugate people under me. My deliverer from my wrathful enemies, lift me up from those who rise up against me, deliver me from the unrighteous man. For this reason we will confess to You in the public eye, O Lord, and to Your name I will sing: magnify the salvation of the king, and show mercy to Your Christ David, and to his seed forever. I love You, Lord, my strength! The Lord is my stronghold and my refuge, my Savior, my God, the Giver of help, I trust in Him! My Defender, in Him is my salvation, my Intercessor! Praising, I will call on the Lord and I will be saved from my enemies. The torments of death overwhelmed me, the torrents of iniquity threw me into confusion.
The torment of hell overtook me, the snares of death overtook me. But in my sorrow I called on the Lord, I cried out to my God; and He heard my voice from His holy church; my cry reached His ears. And the earth shook and trembled, and the foundations of the mountains shook and were shaken, for God was angry. Smoke rose up from His anger, and fire kindled from His face; the coals were kindled by Him. And He bowed the heavens and descended; and darkness is under His feet. And he mounted the Cherubim, and flew, flew on the wings of the wind. And He made darkness His covering; around Him is His abode; the water is dark in the clouds of heaven. Clouds, hail and burning coals flashed before Him in the blaze of lightning. And the Lord thundered from Heaven, the Most High issued His voice. He sent down arrows and dispersed the enemies, and multiplied the lightning, throwing them into confusion. And springs of water appeared, and the foundations of the world were opened at Thy threat, O Lord, at the breath of Thy wrath. He stretched out His right hand from on high and lifted me up, bringing me out of many waters. He will deliver me from my strong enemies and from my haters, for they have become stronger than me.
They overtook me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord is my strength. And He brought me out into the open; delivered me, because He was pleased with me. And the Lord will reward me according to my righteousness, according to the purity of my hands he will reward me; For I have kept the ways of the Lord and have not been wicked before my God. For all His judgments are before me, I have not departed from His commandments. And I will be blameless before Him, and will keep myself from iniquity. And the Lord will reward me according to my righteousness, according to the purity of my hands in His sight. You will deal with the righteous according to Your righteousness, and with the innocent man according to his innocence; And you treat the chosen one as if you were the chosen one, but you treat the evil one according to his wickedness. For You will save the humble people, and You will humble the eyes of the proud; For You kindle my lamp, O Lord my God, You give light to my darkness. For through You I will be delivered from temptation and with my God I will overcome the wall. My God! His way is blameless; the words of the Lord are fiery; He is the Protector of all those who trust in Him. For who is God except the Lord? And who is God besides our God?
God has girded me with strength and made my way blameless; He strengthened my legs like the swift legs of a deer, and raised me to heights. He taught my hands to fight, he made my muscles a bow of copper. And He gave me the shield of salvation, and Your right hand supported me; and Your instruction will correct me, Your instruction will teach me. You have enlarged my steps on my path, and my feet did not fail. I will pursue my enemies, and I will overtake them, and I will not return until they perish! I will crush them, and they will not be able to stand up; they will fall under my feet! And You girded me with strength for battle; You brought down before me all those who rose up against me. And he put my enemies to flight, and destroyed my haters. They cried out, but there was no one to save them; they cried out to the Lord, but He did not hear them. And I will scatter them like dust blown by the wind, like dirt on the way, I will trample them! You delivered me from human strife; made me head of the nations. Tribes that I did not know submitted to me: Having heard about me, they expressed their submission. But the strangers betrayed me. The foreigners were exhausted and lame on their paths.
As the Lord lives and blessed is God, exalted be God who saves me. God, who rewards for me and subdues the nations for me! My deliverer from my furious enemies! You will exalt me above those who rebel; you will deliver me from the unrighteous man. Therefore I will glorify You among the nations, O Lord, and I will sing Your name. You have magnified the king whom You saved and show mercy to Your anointed David and his descendants forever.
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
