Terrible day of Thy coming, O Jesus Christ, doth fear the Theotokos, and unclean judgment feareth God, fearing and trembling, for my multitude of sins: but before the end, O merciful God, turn Thou unto me, and save me by mine much prayer.

Glory: When the Lord shall sit in judgment on thrones, and at His tribunal stand men: neither shall the king prevail over the soldier, nor the lord over his servant: every one according to his own deeds shall be glorified, or confounded.

And now: Receiving the great gifts read by two of God's servants, thou wast made worthy: For thou didst bear in thy body the Only-Begotten, Life-Giving One, for the salvation of our souls.

O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:

O Lord God, rich in mercy and incomprehensible in goodness, alone by nature without sin, and for our sake man though without sin, hear this my grievous prayer today, for I am poor and needy from good works.

My heart within me doth tremble with compunction. For Thou art the King high on high, O Lord, in heaven and on earth; as all my youth I have waited in sin: and after the lusts of my flesh I walked, ever a laughingstock to the demon, ever following the devil by the nose, in the time of fleeting pleasures that wax and wane.

But from my thoughts even from my youth even until now I have never desired to do Thy will willingly: but being enslaved by the passions of deceitful fantasies, I was seized with laughter and profanation by the demon, in no wise as one thinking, for Thou hast poured forth upon sinners an unendurable wrath.

And lying in the fiery gehenna. Even as I always fell into temptation, and ever being turned by sense, I became empty and naked from thy friendship. For I have seen no sin; what work of the demon have I wrought; what deed of study and wantonness with advantage?

And with a contrite heart I have accomplished it; by my carnal remembrances I defiled it, polluting my body with uncleanness, and my spirit with the filthiness of sin: every part of my defiled flesh serveth and worketh for sin. And who else will lament me, my defiled one? Who else will weep for me?

O Sufferer; for I am one, Lord, and have provoked Thy wrath: I am one who has kindled Thine anger against me: I am one who, in my folly, have sinned before Thee, surpassing and overcoming from the beginning all sinners, unmatched in sin and un赦免. But because I am many-tongued,

Blessed be Thou, Lover of mankind, and Thou waitest for the turning of man: all this and I myself cast myself down before Thy fearful and unendurable judgment; as with Thy holy feet Thou hast touched, so from the depths of my soul I cry to Thee: cleanse me, O Forgiver.

Mercy me in my weakness, bow down under the understanding of mine, receive my prayer and my tears not silent. Receive me who am confessing, and turn back him who is lost: turning back those who are turning, and praying forgive. For Thou hast not laid down repentance to the righteous, nor hast Thou

Pronouncement of forgiveness to the ungodly: but Thou hast appointed confession for me, a sinner, in which I have partaken with Thy anger. Naked and exposed before Thee, O Searcher of hearts, confessing my sins: yet I cannot lift up mine eyes nor behold Thy heavenly heights, burdened as I am by the weight of sins.

Thy ears hear me. Enlighten the eyes of my heart, and grant me compunction and tenderness of heart to confession and humility: that with a good hope and true faith I may go to that other world, praising and blessing Thy whole creation, O Father, and Mother.

And now, and ever, and in the ages of ages, amen.
