Yirmós: God / for man it is not possible to behold, / upon whom the angels of the hierarchy dare not gaze: / by Thee, all-compassionate, / dependeth man / the Word made flesh, / glorifying Him, / with heavenly hymns, / we magnify Thee.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorified Thee.

Unspotted by passions thou didst abide in the Word of God,/
by flesh encompassing thee with a body:/
but thou hast resolved from the passions of man,/
with a body suffering passion for our sake:/
for thou alone art without passion, and all-powerful.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorify us.

Thou didst receive the mortal, and preservedst thy corruptible body unsavorily; / but thy life-giving and divine Spirit, O Lord, was not left in hell: / but as thou wast raised from sleep, Thou didst raise us up together.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy merciful compassion and resurrection.

Trisagion: Thee, O God, beyond comprehension,
All ye creatures with pure lips glorify,
Unutterable and most glorious, we worship Thy all-powerful might:
For Thou alone art the unseparable Trinity.

Andronicus. Chant: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy gracious and life-giving Incarnation.

If Thou didst descend into the grave, O Life-giving One, even as dead by nature,
but didst shatter the strength of hell, O Theotokos,
raising up the dead, and even as death itself,
and didst give resurrection to all, O Lord,
because of Thy faith and love, Thou Who art glorified in faith.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy merciful compassion and resurrection.

Let the creation rejoice and blossom as a garden:
For Jesus Christ hath raised up from the dead.
Where thou art now, O death, our sorrow; we cry out.
Where thou wast, O hell, victory;
Hast cast down thee into the earth,
Exalting our horn, for thou art merciful.

Prěpěv: Prestáyi Theotokos, spasí nas.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.

But bearing the bearer of all,
and holding fast as a nursing child in thy hands,
from thy hands deliverance from the foe fighting for us, trampling down the Lady,
and thou seest upon the cross trees exalted,
from the pit lifting up our souls.

Andrei. Choral Response: Having lifted up the Theotokos, save us.

Star shining with the rays of divinity from Jacob,
enveloped in darkness:
By thee, O all-creating Word of God, Jesus Christ,
all creation is enlightened;
through thee we are illumined and glorify thy heavenly mysteries.

Pripev: Presvytori, spasí nas.

With strength and by Thy grace, I strengthen myself, /
And with an heartfelt song from my heart I have laid it upon Thee: /
But receive this, O Thou who readest two, /
granting Thy great glory, /
from the uncorrupted treasures, O God-enlightened One.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

Having stood in the presence of God,
in which the word of the bodily garment was made manifest,
God having opened my double eyes:
in which all salvation is revealed,
from the purity of those who truly glorify Thee.

And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Resurrection of the Dead given now by Thy ineffable and unutterable word, O All-Holy:
For life having clothed Thee in a body, Thou hast raised all to immortality, and put an end to mortal corruption.

Vseka zemnorodny / da vygrayetsya domom prosveshchem, / da torzhestvuyetye zheploptnykh duchovykh mow, yestvet poychayushche ssshene brgamsyre, / i da vopyeyet: / raduyssya vseloblazhennaia / btsye, chytaya prinsndvo.

By the prayers of our holy Mother, Jesus Christ, O Lord, have mercy upon us, amen.
