Yirmós: God / Man cannot behold, / upon whom the angels' hierarchy dare not gaze: / by Thee, all-compassionate, / man's word was incarnate, / of whose majesty, / with heavenly reverence, / we glorify Thee.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorify us.

Not partaken of passions thou didst remain faithful, O Word of God, / Incarnate by thy very flesh: / But thou hast resolved from the passions of man, / Incarnate becoming passion to save our own: / For thou alone art without passion, and all-powerful.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorified Thee.

Thou didst receive the mortal, preserving thy body unsavorily in corruption, / but thy life-giving and divine Spirit, O Lord, was not left in hell: / but as thou didst rise from sleep, thou didst raise us up.

Pripyat': Glory to Thee, O Lord, in Thy mercy and resurrection.

Trisagion: Thee, O God, beyond comprehension,
All ye creatures with pure lips glorify,
Unto Thee, unspeakable and most glorious,
With all Thy might we worship:
For Thou alone art of unutterable might, inseparable.

Andronicus. Chant: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy merciful compassion and resurrection.

If thou didst descend into the grave, O Life-giving One,
but didst shatter the strength of hell, Theotokos,
raising the dead, and didst even swallow them up,
and didst give resurrection to all, O God,
for thou art glorified by faith and love, O Thou who art greatly praised.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, in Thy mercy and resurrection.

Let the creation rejoice and blossom as a garden:
For Jesus Christ hath raised up from the dead.
Where thou art now, O death, our sorrow; we cry out.
Where thou wast, O hell, victory;
Hast cast down thee into the earth,
Exalting our horn, for thou art full of goodness.

Pripev: Preshta bce, spas' nas'.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.

But bearing the bearer of all,
and holding fast as a nursing child in thy hands,
and from thy hands delivering us from the foe,
who fought valiantly against the Lady,
and saw upon the cross trees exalted,
from the pit of the grave lifting up our race.

Andronicus. Chant: Having lifted up Thyself, O Theotokos, save us.

Star shining with the rays of divinity from Jacob, / Enveloped in darkness: / By thee, O Word of God, all creation was made flesh: / Through thee enlightened, we venerate thy heavenly presence.

Pripev: Preshta Theotokos, spasynas.

With strength and by Thy grace, I strengthen myself, / O my soul, with a heartfelt song I have laid upon Thee: / But receive this, Thou who readest the two, / granting Thy great light, O gracious One, / from Thine uncorrupted treasures, O God.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

Having stood in the manifestation of God's power,
in which the word of the bodily garment is made manifest,
God hath opened my double eyes:
in which all salvation is revealed,
from the clear sense of them that glorify Thee.

And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Resurrection of the Dead is given to us now, O Theotokos, by thy unspeakable and unutterable hymn: / For life, O Thou Who didst clothe Thyself in flesh, hast encompassed all with it, / And by Thy death Thou hast destroyed the deadly weakness.

Vseka zemnorodny / da vygratetsya domom prosveshchem, / da tserjevestueta zhe besplotnykh dumov ysoestvo, / pokhranitelle seshennoe tozhestvo bogortre, / i da vopyet: / raduytsya vseloblazhennaia / tsare, chitaetya prinsndvovo.

O Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]

By the prayers of our holy fathers, Jesus Christ, O Lord, and Theotokos, have mercy on us, amen.
