The grave laid us low by the power of death, yet no word can hold it back:
For God hath risen, saving our race.

O Unapproachable Light, Thou hast given birth to the Double Dwelling, / in being, abiding in darkness, / by Thy Body shining forth for all and singing Thee, / Thou hast poured out unceasing joy from Thy Ever-Dwelling Source.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

Blessing flourisheth, law is abolished: by thee all things are made new;
for thou, reading, didst bring forth the Lord,
giving to us the ever-present, leaving behind the transient.

Dead hath shown the garden entrance, /
life's tree thou didst exceed in power, rise,
and thy heir the heavenly delights hast fashioned.

Sitting in glory,
on the throne of divinity,
in the cloud of light,
Jesus the Eternal comes,

Glory to thy power.
