Whose mind will comprehend, O Lady, the power of the fortress of Your Son, having brought His people out of the earth, even the faiths of eternity, and having made You, His Mother, an enemy I am terrible, delivering those who call upon You from the belly of hell.

The tongue will express Your all-conquering power, O Lady! One thing is for the likeness of Your face, like fire, scorches evil spirits, but Your people heal and rejoice, and we reverently kiss it, Your servant.

Some word will depict the greatness of Your miracles, O All-Merciful Deliverer from troubles! Just as your holy icon was brought to the fierce torment of a demon, the tormentor disappeared, and when healed, you loudly glorified your power.

From the abundance of grace inherent in Your image, Bride of God, how many demoniacs and other sick people You healed, how many mourners you joined in joy, who flowed to the icon with faith Yours.

Oh, great mercy of Thy, Mother of God, who was pleased by Thy miraculous image to stay with us! What shall we repay Thee for the grace which Thou hast shown to us, bestowing upon this church nothing but sacred wealth?
