Irmos: Everyone was terrified of Your Divine glory: For you, the Unartful Virgin, had in your womb God above all and gave birth to the Flightless Son, to all who sing praises to Thy world giver.

Most Holy Theotokos, save us.

In sorrow, the small punishment of Your Son was to become an inhabitant of the world, and, having become ill, he called on Thee, the Mother of bounty, and through You he arose from despair and rejoiced, the dew of grace, even from Thy icons, healing came to them.

Most Holy Theotokos, save us.

Grace to Thy sharpening icon, O Deliverer, to Thy faithful servant, which I always carried with me, Thou didst forbid, O Lady, to hide it from the faithful, so that they may be delivered from troubles and illnesses those who come running to You.

Most Holy Theotokos, save us.

By You, All-Merciful Lady, freedom from the cruel was sent down to those who flowed with faith to Your holy image, while hope, protection and indestructible joy were granted to those who mourn, O God-pleased.

Most Holy Theotokos, save us.

Terrified in misery at the richness of Your gifts, O Virgin, in miracles from Your image, I fell down to Him, joyfully crying out: Truly You are the Deliverer from all troubles

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Joy of angels and men, create freedom from the sorrows of life and deliver the future tightness and eternal fire with your maternal boldness, O All-Good One, from the troubles of the Deliverer.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

God's chosen Ever-Virgin, foreseen in the watered rune of ancient times, sprinkle with the dew of grace the parched earth of my heart and make my soul fruitful through good deeds and vision.
