O Soul/Spirit, being led by the Spirit, let us cry out with understanding:
unto the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit:
Glory, power, and honour be ascribed in ages of ages. Amen.

And let us say one of the following troparia:

If thou art a stranger in this world,
and thy heart is filled with compunction for sin,
thou hast found the way to life eternal.
For by the grace of God
the creation of man has been made free from delusion and deceit,
and hath received the knowledge of truth.

Therefore, let us all with one voice cry:
Thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

By the grace of thy blessed vision, O Avvakum, with thine eyes ever watchful and clear, proclaiming to us from on high, in thy sanctification and renewal, O Theotokos, our salvation and restoration.

Who is this Saviour who, having been crucified and slain, bears a crown of thorns on His head, wearing a purple robe, hanging upon the wood; He is indeed holy, for in His suffering He brings us salvation and renewal.

Behold the people disobedient and ashamed: for his sake ye lifted up on the cross the wood of the gallows, and by thyself thou hast destroyed the strength thereof; O God, thou hast gloriously risen from the grave.

O Theotokos,

The tree of life and wisdom: for its fruit is not death-bearing to men from thee we have eaten, but the enjoyment of eternal life, in the salvation of those who sing to thee.

And Irmos: The Rod from the Root of Jesse:

Who, O Thou adorned with the beauty of life, and painted with various hues as from the vineyard of grapes, art adorned like God, like man, thy flesh turned red by blood; to Him we sing: Glory be to Thy might, O Lord.

Jesus Christ hath made the forgiveness of our sins to abound exceedingly: and having shown a strange way by His own blood, He entered into the better and more perfect tabernacle, passing through our flesh.

O Theotokos,

Ancient debt thou hast besought, O All-Pure Virgin, for us sinners for the sake of Him Who became new Adam. Having united thyself with the pure conception of a wise and quickened flesh, from thee sprang Jesus Christ, One in essence with Thee.

And Irmos: By Thy Holy Spirit:

Hear the wonders of heaven, and let the earth be filled, as with the fingers of Thy hand, O God, was it called upon by the Spirit, and in her own behalf became the mother, for our salvation and renewal.

We sing thy great and fearful mystery, O Lord, for the princes and powers bowing before Thee, as Thou didst descend in rain upon the rusno, all-compassionate, singing with those who praise Thee.

Hallowed be Thy Name, O All-Pleasing Theotokos, and the language of prayer, and the comfort of the faithful, for Thou art our Deliverer and Life-Giver, O Lord: pray to Thee, that we may be saved by Thee.
