Irimos:
O Lord, our God, Thou art the Life, and all living things are by Thee; Thou art the Light of our eyes, and in Thee we see light.
Thou art always with us, and nothing can separate us from Thy love. Suddenly, O Lord, Thou dost visit us with compunction of heart, and we are amazed at the strange power of Thy mercy.
For Thou art the Creator of all things, and in Thee is our salvation. Thou art the Glory and the Righteousness of Thy people; Thou art the Hope of those who put their trust in Thee.
Thou art the Spectacle of the heavens, and we are but creatures before Thee. O Lord, have mercy on us, for Thou art the Source of all goodness and truth.
Pray for us to the Holy Theotokos, that she may intercede with Thee for us; and to Thy holy angels, that they may protect us in this world and the next.
For Thou art the Master of our souls, and we are but strangers in Thy kingdom. O Lord, grant us to see Thee face to face, and to dwell with Thee in glory forever.
Illuminating with the splendor of Thy coming, O Jesus Christ, and enlightening by Thy light the ends of the world, enlighten our hearts with the light of Thy divine understanding, O Righteous One, singing praise to Thee.
Pastor of the sheep of great and Lordly pasture, the Jews by a living tree did slay: but though they slew them that were dead in hell, death's powers they overcame not.
By Thy Word the world hath been made glad with the Good Tidings, and having preached to the captives the abandonment of My will, Thou hast brought to shame him who held fast, uncovering by a glorious uprising the Theotokos.
O Theotokos,
Prayers of the faithful, all-holy, do not despise: but receive them, and carry them to Thy throne, O Most Gracious, for Thou art our Intercessor with God.
And Irmos: God is the Saviour of the world:
O wealth and depth of divine wisdom, O Lord! Receive our confession; Thou hast delivered us from the cunning of their craftiness by Thy suffering: though Thou didst suffer in the weakness of the flesh by Thine own strength, Thou didst raise the dead to life.
God the Son hath united our flesh for our sake:
and He was crucified, and He died:
He was buried, and again He rose from the dead,
and ascended into heaven with His glorified body, Jesus Christ:
with Him cometh, and saveth them that serve Him with holiness.
O Theotokos,
Státhy stáya, stáhy stágo rodilà є́sì, vssékh̀ osvjaščajúűca grázdu izbávitel̀. Tě́mже týà cráci, í vlčcu vsséh̀ kak̀ó mtár zíjditel̀ tvářey prápově́ďuém.
And Irmos: Enlightening with Thy beams:
Rejoice ye heavenly powers, seeing Him: men gather together in gladness with them; by your glory, O Theotokos, have Thou and Thy holy Child Jesus Christ united, worthy of our praise.
Let all tongues and thoughts of mankind move to praise truly the divine favour, for two stand before them glorifying with faith those who sing their wonders.

**Note:** The translation aims to maintain the liturgical register and meaning while adhering to the traditional prayer-book idiom.
Let the praise and glory, O wise and praiseworthy, be offered to Thee, God, together with the hymn of Thy Most Holy Mother: for her temple of glory is full of glory, worthy of our praise.
