Irimos:

Thou, O Lord, hast created man in Thine own image and after Thy likeness,
and didst place him upon this earth to have dominion over all the works of Thy hands.
But because of sin, man hath fallen into death;
and by the transgression of the first Adam, all his posterity is made subject to corruption.

Therefore, O Lord our God, we pray Thee:
Grant us repentance and new life,
that through faith in Thine only-begotten Son Jesus Christ,
we may be delivered from the bondage of sin
and partake of Thy divine glory.

Illuminating with the brightness of Thy coming, O Christ, and enlightening by Thy light the ends of the world, enlighten our hearts with the light of Thy divine understanding, O Righteous One, we praise Thee together.

By Thy Word the world was made glad with the Good Tidings, and proclaiming my captivity to the free, Thou didst humble him who held them in power, stripping Thee naked and revealing by a glorious uprising of Thine Majesty.

The Theotokos:

More humbly beseeching thee, all-compassionate One, do not despise: but receive and carry within thy divine hands, O God, for thou art the unique Giver of grace; for I have waited upon thee as my intercessor.

And Irmos: God of the world:

Riches and depth of divine wisdom, O Lord! Receive our confession, having delivered us from the cunning of wickedness: for, suffering by the will of a weak flesh, by Thy own strength, Thou didst raise the dead to life.

God the Son hath united our flesh for our sake: and He was crucified, and died: was buried, and again rose again: ascended into heaven with His glorified body, Jesus Christ: with Him cometh, and saveth them that serve Him with holiness.

O Theotokos,

Stáhy stája duvo chitaja, stáhy stágo rodila esì, vsekh osvěщаúuca Izbavítele. Témy tája cirici, i vlcçu vseh gákwa mtár zidítelë tvaří pravévdém uemývemy.

And Irmos: Enlightening with Thy beams:

Rejoice ye heavenly powers seeing Thee: the gathered multitude of men are glad with them: by Thy laughter, O Lord, hast Thou united two, the Theotokos, worthy to be glorified.

Let all tongues and thoughts of mankind move to praise truly the human glory, for two stand before with true acclaim, singing wonders in faith.

Let us extol the wisdom and praise, O wise and glorious Mother of God: for her is the temple of glory, worthy of our praise evermore.
