Genesis reading. [Gen.49:1–12]
Jacob called his sons and said to them: Gather together, that I will tell you what will happen to you in the last days. Gather together and listen to me, sons of Jacob: listen to Israel, listen to your father. Judah, your brethren will praise you; your hands will be on your enemy's coat; your father's sons will worship you. Skimen of the lions Judah, my son came up from the summer weeds: you lay down and fell asleep like a lion, and like the skimen, who will awaken him? The prince shall not fail from Judah, nor the leader from his feet, until that which is set aside for him shall come: and that is the desire of the tongues. Tie your lot to the vine, and mount your donkey to the vineyard: he will burn his clothes with wine, and his clothing with the blood of the grapes. His eyes are more joyful than wine, and his teeth are whiter than milk.
Reading Genesis [49:1–2, 8–12]
Jacob called his sons and said: “Come together so that I can tell you what will happen to you in the last days. Gather together and listen, sons of Jacob, listen to your father Israel! Judah, your brothers have submitted to you, your hands are on the backs of your enemies, your father’s sons will worship you. Son of the lion, Judas! From the escape you have grown, my son; he lay down and fell asleep like a young lion: who will wake him up? The ruler from Judah will not cease, and the leader from between his feet, until the One for whom it is destined comes, and He is the hope of the nations. He will tie his foal to the vine and the cub of his donkey to the ivy; he will wash his clothes in wine and his clothing in the blood of grapes. His eyes sparkle with wine, and his teeth are whiter than milk.
Reading the prophecies of Zephaniah. [Zeph.3:14–19]
Thus says the Lord: Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion, preach to the daughters of Jerusalem, rejoice and be adorned with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem. The Lord has taken away your iniquity, and your enemy has delivered you out of the hand: the Lord will reign in your midst, and you shall not see evil against anyone. At this time the Lord says to Jerusalem: Be of good cheer, O Zion, and let not your hands fail. The Lord your God is in you, the Mighty One will save you: He will bring joy to you, and will renew you in His love, and will rejoice over you in adornment, as on the day of the holiday. And I will gather up your erasures: woe, who will accept reproach? Behold, I will do it in you, for your sake, says the Lord, at that time, and I will save the oppressed, and I will accept the rejected, and I will set it as a praise, and I will make names throughout the whole earth.
Reading the prophecy of Zephaniah [3:14–19]
Thus says the Lord: Rejoice, daughter of Zion, preach, daughter of Jerusalem, behold, your King is coming to you, righteous and saving, He is meek and sits on a yoke and a colt. And He will destroy the chariots of Ephraim and the horses of Jerusalem, and He will destroy the bow of war, and wealth and peace will be among the nations, and He will possess the waters from sea to sea and from the rivers to the ends of the earth. And You, by the blood of Your Covenant, freed Your prisoners from the waterless pit. And you, prisoners of the congregation, will sit in the forts, and for one day of your journey I will reward you twice. For I have stretched you like a bow to Myself, O Judah, I have filled it with Ephraim, and I will raise up your children, O Zion, against the children of the Greeks, and I will take you like a warrior’s sword. And the Lord will appear over them, and His arrow will fly out like lightning, and the Lord God Almighty will sound the trumpet and go with the noise of His wrath. The Lord Almighty will protect them.

Thus says the Lord: Rejoice in the greenery of the daughter of Zion, preach to the daughters of Jerusalem, behold, your King is coming to you, righteous and saving, He is meek, and always on the yoke and the young stallion. And he will consume chariots from Ephraim, and horses from Jerusalem, and he will consume the bow, and multitudes, and peace from the nations: and he will possess the waters from sea to sea, and from the rivers to the sources of the earth. And thou art in the blood of thy covenant, thou hast delivered thy captives from the ditch having no water. Sit in the stronghold of the host, and for one day of your coming I will repay you. Judah has clasped you like a bow like Ephraim, and I will raise up your children in Zion against the children of Greece, and wield them like the sword of a warrior. And the Lord will appear against them, and His arrow will go out like lightning: and the Lord God Almighty will sound the trumpet, and will go with the noise of His rebuke. The Lord Almighty will protect them.
