Troparion of prophecy, tone 8: We have no composition of works, Lord: You are merciful, O Lover of mankind, do not despise the works of Your hands, O Sinless One.
Glory, and now: and we repeat the same.
Troparion of prophecy, tone 8: We have no constancy in our affairs, O Lord; You are Merciful, Lover of Mankind, do not neglect the creations of Your hands, Infallible One!
Glory, even now: and we repeat the same troparion.

Reading the prophecies of Isaiah. [Isa.10:12–20]
It will be, when the Lord finishes everything he has done in Mount Zion, in Jerusalem, that he will bring great things to mind, to the prince of Assyria, and to the height of glory in his eyes. Speech: I will create the strength of my hand, and with the wisdom of [my] understanding I will take away the borders of the tongues, and take their power into captivity: And I will shake the cities of the people, and I will embrace the whole universe with my hand. I wash it like a nest, and like an abandoned egg I take away, and the one who runs away from me, or speaks against me, and opens his mouth, and mocks. Will the ax be glorified by food without cutting it? or will the saw ascend without a drawer? So if someone takes up a rod or a tree: and not so. But the Lord of hosts will send dishonor on your honor, and the fire of grief will kindle on your glory. And the light of Israel will become a fire, and will sanctify it with burning fire, and will girdle the substance like hay. On that day the mountains and the hills and the oak groves will burn away, and the girdle will burn from the soul even to the flesh: and you will flee as you flee from a burning flame. And what is left of them will be numbered, and as a child I will write a little.
And it shall be in that day that the remnant of Israel shall not be added to him, and the salvation of Jacob shall not be for anyone who trusts in those who have offended them: but for those who trust in the God of the Holy One of Israel through truth.
Reading the prophecy of Isaiah [10:12–20]
It will be like this: when the Lord finishes everything that He does on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, He will turn His gaze on the arrogant mind - on the ruler of Assyria, and on the arrogance of his eyes. For he said: “With the strength of my hand I will do it, and with the wisdom of my understanding I will take away the borders of the nations and take their strength into captivity. And I will shake the inhabited cities and the whole world I will grab with my hand like a nest, and like abandoned eggs I will take, and no one will run away from me or speak against me, or open their mouth or squeak.” Will the ax be glorified without the one who cuts it? Will the saw rise without someone moving it? So is the rod and the tree, unless someone takes them, right? But the Lord of hosts will send dishonor on your honor, and a burning fire will break out on your glory. And the light of Israel will be like fire, and will sanctify it with scorching fire, and will burn it and swallow it up like hay or bushes. On that day the mountains, hills and oak groves will disappear, and fire will consume from soul to flesh; and the one running away will run as if from a kindled flame. And what remains of them will be in such quantity that even a little child will rewrite them.
And it will come to pass in that day that the remnant of Israel will no longer be united, and those who escaped from Jacob will no longer hope in those who wronged them, but will truly hope in God, the Holy One of Israel.
