Glory to Thee, Lord Jesus Christ, my God, for Thou hast once again vouchsafed me, unworthy, having passed through the field of holy fasting, to worship Thy Divine passion and to see the all-joyful day of Thy glorious Resurrection from the tomb of the Resurrection, and Thou hast freed the souls of the righteous who have been bound for centuries in hell. This is the Divine liberation, my Savior, and I wish that you may resolve me, bound by many sins, and may you cause the life-giving light of Your Resurrection to shine in my dark soul: I see your countless bounties and your ineffable love for mankind, as if you did not bring me into existence from non-existence, and the image Having adorned your likeness, you made me the ruler of all the earthly creatures, but even then, having fallen from the heights and enslaved to the enemy, you forsook me in no way, but, having redeemed me with your priceless blood, you provided me with the grace of Baptism, so that I may ascend to the first wealth. However, the accursed one, having become a carnal mind, turned back and again I am a slave of sin, until one by one I destroyed all the gifts of Thy grace.

And now for what I will do, we do not know: but having remembered the words of Your most pure lips, as if You did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance, I come again with faith and humility to Your life-giving tomb, not myrrh, below the aromas of piety [for I am naked and empty of good deeds], but I have not rejected forgiveness more than hope I will receive from You my sin, and renewal for my unclean life. Look upon me now that I repent and wish to serve you, and do not reject me from the grace of Your Resurrection. You deign life-giving death and burial, put to death my fierce passions, so that I may appear to the world as dead and buried. Having raised the dead by Your glorious rising, raise up my soul, mortified by sins, and awaken my conscience, which is most needed in the world.

By Your ascension to heaven, renewing the path to heaven for the human race, tear me away from the vain and soul-sucking blessings of earthly things, and make me heavenly wise, so that by living and pleasing no one, but by serving and working with You, my Lord and God, I will be worthy to see You face to face, my Redeemer, for accepting death on the cross with glory and honor. crowned, and at the right hand of Your Majesty, with the Archangels and Angels and with all those redeemed by You, I will give you Glory and worship, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
