God of spirits and all flesh, having trampled down death, and abolished the devil, and given life to Thy world! You, Lord, rest the soul of your departed servant (name) in a bright place, in a greener place, in a calm place, from where sickness, sorrow and sighing will flee: every sin committed by him in word, or deed, or thought, as a good lover of mankind, forgive God, as if there is no man who will live and will not sin: for You are the only one without sin, Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your word is truth.
For You are the resurrection and life and rest of Your departed servant (name), Christ our God, and to You we send glory, with Your beginningless Father, and Your most holy and good and life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
