To Thee, O Most Pure Mother of God, with great reverence I fall down and pray: Remember me, O Queen, because without cease I sin and grieve Thy holy and God's Holy Spirit, and many times do I repent, lying prostrate before God, trembling in my heart. Do not let it be that Thou dost smite me, but rather, at the appointed time, again work upon me. Knowing this, O My Lady Theotokos, grant me mercy, strengthen me, and give to me good works to do. For indeed, O My Lady Theotokos, I have in hatred all my deeds, and with all my heart I love God's Law; but I know not, O Most Pure Mother, from whence I hate, that I may also love, and thus commit sin. Do not allow, O Most Pure Mother, the will of mine to be fulfilled, for it is not good: but let Thy will and God's will be done, that Thou mightest save me, enlighten me, and give me eternal life, so that henceforth I may cease from all unclean deeds, and live henceforth in obedience to Thee, which is meet for all glory, honor, and power with the Father and the Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
