Having seen the palms of the Jews in the image of Him who was created by the hand of man, and understanding Him, they strove to please Him with branches, crying "O Soul/Spirit." And we offer a song saying to Thee:

O Jesus Christ, true God:

O Jesus, Saviour of souls.

O Soul/Spirit, to the Glorious King:

O Saviour, more pure than purity itself.

O Saviour, Presbyter Wondrous:

O Saviour, Guardian in my youth.

O Soul, nourisher in my youth:

O Soul, praise in my old age.

O Soul, in my death be my hope:

O Soul, life after my death.

O Soul, comforted of Me on Thy judgment day:

O Soul/Spirit, my desire, do not dishonor me then.

Jesus Christ, have mercy upon me.
