Psalm 90

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. {abide: Heb. lodge}
I will say of the LORD, {He is} my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, {and} from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth {shall be thy} shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; {nor} for the arrow {that} flieth by day;
{Nor} for the pestilence {that} walketh in darkness; {nor} for the destruction {that} wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; {but} it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the LORD, {which is} my refuge, {even} the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in {their} hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. {adder: or, asp}
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I {will be} with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. {long...: Heb. length of days}

Тропарь, глас 8-й

With the depth of wisdom, build everything humanely and give what is useful to everyone, the only Creator, rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (Thy servant): in Thee put my trust (place it), Creator and Maker and our God.

Glory, and now: Theotokos: To you and the wall, and the refuge of the imam, and the prayer book, I am favored by God, Whom you gave birth to, the brideless Mother of God, salvation of the faithful.

Psalm 50

[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin {is} ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done {this} evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, {and} be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. {conceive...: Heb. warm me}
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden {part} thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; {that} the bones {which} thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. {right: or, constant}
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me {with thy} free spirit.
{Then} will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: {and} my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. {bloodguiltiness: Heb. bloods}
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give {it}: thou delightest not in burnt offering. {else...: or, that I should}
The sacrifices of God {are} a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Песнь 1

Irmos: Having passed through the water like dry land, and having escaped the Egyptian evil, the Israelite cried out to the Deliverer and to our God.

Chorus: Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Open my mouth, O Savior, grant me the word to pray, O Merciful One, for Thy departed servant, (name), and rest his soul, O Master.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Having been dead in the flesh, O Savior, and laid in the tomb with the dead, the soul of Your servant rests in a green place, for He is merciful.

Glory: Hear my prayerful voice, O God of the Trinitarians, and bring about the soul of Abraham, the Deliverer, who was reposed in the depths.

And now: You, Most Pure Mother of God, Whom you conceived without the temptation of a man, pray to Your Son to grant peace to Your departed servant, (name).

Песнь 3

Irmos: The Supreme Creator of the heavenly circle, Lord, and the Creator of the Church, You confirm me in Your love, the desires of the land, the true affirmation, the One Lover of Mankind.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

In a green place, in a place of peace, where the faces of the saints rejoice, the soul of Your departed servant rests, O Christ, the Only Merciful.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Wherever the faces of the saints are, place there, O Master, those who served You with all their hearts and lifted up Your yoke upon their frame, as the One Lord of life and death.

Glory: Heavenly Father Almighty, and Only Begotten Son, and Holy Soul from the Source, despise the sins of the deceased, and place his firstborn in the Church, glorify Thee with all those who have pleased Thee.

And now: For the Holy Mother of the Most Holy God, the Lady of all, Mary the Mother of God, with all the saints, pray for the soul of Your servant to rest in the Heavenly villages.

Lord, have mercy (three times).

Седален, глас 5-й

Rest, O our Savior, with the righteous of Thy servant, and this one has settled in Thy courts, as it is written, despising, as good as it is, his sins, voluntary and involuntary, and all that is known and not knowledge, more humane.

Glory, even now: Theotokos: From the Virgin you shone forth to the world, O Christ God, who showed you the sons of light, have mercy on us.

Песнь 4

Irmos: I have heard, O Lord, the sight of Your sacrament, I have understood Your works and glorified Your Divinity.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Having descended into the underworld, O Christ, you raised up all that had died, and the rest that departed from us, O Savior, as you are generous.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

There is no one without sin, except You are One, Master: for this sake, forgive the one who has been delivered and leave his sins, and place him in paradise.

Glory: Hear, Holy Trinity, the voices of prayer offered to You in the church for the deceased, and illuminate with Your God-begotten light the soul darkened by vain devotions.

And now: Thou hast given birth, O Most Pure One, without a man to seed, a perfect God and a perfect Man, who takes away our sins, O Virgin. Pray this, O Lady, to grant peace to your departed servant.

Песнь 5

Irmos: Enlighten us with Your commandments, O Lord, and with Your high arm grant us Your peace, O Lover of Mankind.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

You have the power of life and death, the rest left from us, O Christ God, for You are all, O Savior, peace and life.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Place your hope in Thee, Savior, who died from us; But You, Lord, show mercy to him, for God is Most Merciful.

Glory: Enlighten us, O Trisvyate, glorified Master, who pray to You, receive heavenly peace, and in peaceful villages restore the soul that has departed from the temporary in the hope of endless life.

And now: Shuyago stands, Most Pure One, to deliver Your departed Son, O Virgin Lady, who is the Savior and our God, the Existing Mother.

Песнь 6

Irmos: I will pour out a prayer to the Lord, and to Him I will proclaim my sorrows, for my soul is filled with evil and my life is drawing near to hell, and I pray like Jonah: from aphids, O God, lift me up.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

You have checked hell, O Master, and you have raised up those who have died from time immemorial: and now He who is departed from us, You, O God, have placed in the bosom of Abraham, having forgiven all sins, as You are merciful.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

The commandment that You gave to me, O God, I transgressed and died, but You, God, Who descended into the grave and raised the souls from all eternity, do not raise me up, O Master, to torment, but to rest, the departed one cries out to You through us, O Most Merciful.

Glory: We pray to You, the Originless Father and the Son and the Holy Soul, do not reject the soul that has gone to the depths of hell through the malice of the soul-evil world and towards You, the Creator, do not reject it, my God our Savior.

And now: From heaven, Christ our God, like rain on the fleece, the Most Pure One, descended on Thee, watering the whole world and drying up all the godless streams, flooding the whole earth with His mind, Ever-Virgin; Pray to him to give peace to your departed servant.

Lord, have mercy (three times). Glory to this day:

Кондак, глас 8-й

With the saints, rest, O Christ, the soul of Your servant, where there is no sickness, no sorrow, no sighing, but endless life.

Икос

You yourself are the only immortal One, who created and created man: from earth we are created from the earth, and let us go to the earth, as you commanded, who created me and gave me rivers: For thou art the earth, and unto the earth shall we go, and may all men go, a funeral lament creating a song: alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Песнь 7

Irmos: Children came from Judea, in Babylon, sometimes, by the Trinity’s faith, they trampled the fire of the furnace, singing: Father God, blessed are you.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Master Christ God, whenever you want to judge the world, have mercy on the soul of your servant, whom you received from us, crying: our father, God, blessed are you.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

In the food of heaven, where the souls of the righteous rejoice, those who have served Thee, count with them, O Christ, the soul of Thy servant, who sang: Our father, God, blessed art thou.

Glory: Saved the three youths of Judah into the fires, glorified in the Three Persons, delivered the eternal fire of the departed, who sang truly: Our father, God, blessed art thou.

And now: Lord Christ, who gave birth to all God, the power of the dark prince of the air, deliver, O Virgin, the soul of him who ceased in faith and sang: our father, God, blessed art thou.

Песнь 8

Irmos: By the Sevenfold, the Chaldean tormentor furiously kindled the furnace of the pious, but by the best power he saw those who were saved, crying out to the Creator and Deliverer: bless the youths, priests sing, exalt the people to all ages.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Having finished the course and come running to You, Lord, the departed one now cries out, forgive my sins, O Christ God, and do not judge me, even though you want to judge everyone, for it is true that I cry to You: All the works of the Lord, sing praise to the Lord and exalt Him forever.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

He bore, O Lord, Thy yoke on his frame, and Thy burden was light, even if not always, but in the place of Thy saints he indwelled his soul, having sung to Thee, Christ. Savior: bless the youths, sing praises to the priests, people exalt Him forever.

Let us bless the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Lord.

Glory: Beginningless Holy Trinity, God the Father and the Son and the Holy Soul, in the person of the saints I consider the soul of Your departed servant and deliver the eternal fire, so that He may praise You, chanting in forever: bless the youths, sing praises to the priests, people exalt Him forever.

And now: Thee, Virgin, the prophecies of the face prophesied, for the clairvoyant eyes saw Thee: for the rod was called Thee, and also the eastern door, and the mountain of men uncut. We confess You, truly the Mother of God, Who gave birth to all Gods, Whom we pray to give rest to Him who has passed away forever.

Песнь 9

Irmos: The heavens were horrified at this, and the ends of the earth were amazed, for God appeared as a man in the flesh, and Your womb was the most spacious of the heavens. Thus they magnify Thee, the Mother of God, the Angels and the people of the bureaucracy.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

Jesus, my God, Savior, Adamle, you took away crime and tasted death, so that people could be free from it, O Merciful One. Moreover, we pray to You, O Most Merciful One: rest in peace, for He is Good, in the palaces of Your saints, for He alone is all-good and merciful.

Rest, Lord, to the soul of Your departed servant.

There is no one, O Merciful One, who has not sinned among men, except You alone, Jesus Christ, take away the sins of the whole world. Moreover, having cleansed Your servant from sins, establish in Your holy works: For You give life and peace, and light, and joy to all who have pleased You.

Glory: All human nature marveled at how this Only Begotten Son of the Father Without Beginning took flesh from the Virgin through the action of the Holy Spirit, and you suffered like a man and died revive. Thus, He who has now departed from us, we diligently pray to Thee, in the land of the living, as Good, may He dwell.

And now: We call Thee the Bride, Most Pure One, the Invisible Father, and the Mother of the Son, of Thee incarnate by the Holy Spirit, and we offer Thee a prayer book for Thy departed servant: We offer Thee a helper Imams, people of earth, and singing with love we magnify You (bow).
