All changed and all gone to God with the most divine devotion, God-wise, and deified by communion, to the longed-for deification, Simeon, the glorified God, crying out with love:
Rejoice, coal of the immaterial fire;
Rejoice, radiance of the divine light.
Rejoice, thou who art more eloquent than deification;
Rejoice, most powerful consumer of laziness.
Rejoice, thou who manifest the kindness of deification more actively;
Rejoice, teach saving sobriety to reason.
Rejoice, for you teach the monks;
Rejoice, for you turn away the enemies of the regiment.
Rejoice, enlightener of our wisdom;
Rejoice, stop striving for passions.
Rejoice, granting divine grace to the faithful;
Rejoice, beg God for everyone.
Rejoice, like Simeon, the light of the Divine Mystery.
