You appeared angel-like to those who excelled in virtues, O god-wise Simeon the Theologian, and through your angelic voice you theologized even more than the mind of the sacrament. Moreover, we all cry out in wonder at your lordship:
Rejoice, in whom the Trinity is sung;
Rejoice, in whom corruption is trampled under foot.
Rejoice, dwelling place of the Trisolar Light;
Rejoice, contemplation of heavenly life.
Rejoice, height of the divine mind, inconvenience corrected by many;
Rejoice, depth of life of the best, for the sake of all virtues.
Rejoice, for you have appeared in radiance to the Church;
Rejoice, for you have appeared to bring joy to the theologians.
Rejoice, ray of immaterial lights;
Rejoice, lightning against material imaginations.
Rejoice, through whom theologies are taught in secret;
Rejoice, because the New Slovakians are listening.
Rejoice, like Simeon, the light of the Divine Mystery.
