It is meet and right, O Lord, to bless Thee, the ever-blessed and ever-virgin Mary, our Mother of God, and Theotokos. More glorious than cherubim, and beyond comparison more honorable than seraphim, thou who art the bearer of Him Who is born of God, O Thou Who livest and hast reposed in glory, we magnify thee. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, King, to Thee be glory, might, and honor, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. [Three times.]

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Father, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen. Pray for us, O Preserver: Lord, cleanse our sins: Master, forgive our lawlessness: Venerable One, visit and heal the sick among us, by Thy Name. Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]

Glory to Thee, O God, and to Thy Christ, and to Thy Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, who art on high, hallowed be Thy name; that Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Trípáry of the feast. Ýet if it be a sabbath, the trípáry of the Resurrection of the Glósa.

O Lord, have mercy on us, O Lord: for all our sins we pray to Thee with compunction of heart, as sinners; have mercy on us. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. O Lord, have mercy on us: for in hope we have trusted Thee; let not Thine anger be kindled against us nor count our transgressions; but look upon us now with a good heart and deliver us from our enemies: for Thou art God our King, and we Thy people, all our works being by Thy hand, and to Thee we cry. And now and forever. Amen.

The doors of Thy mercy open for us, O Blessed Theotokos: trusting in Thee that we may not perish but be delivered by Thee from tribulations: for Thou art the salvation of the race of Christians. O Lord, have mercy.
And let us bow down, if thou wilt.

And now we stand before Thee, O Lord.

O man, desiring to pray, approach with fear, lest thou fall: for fire is it. But the precious blood for reconciliation, receive before common fellowship. And with boldness receive also this holy bath.

Mercy, O Virgin most pure:

Master, O Lord Jesus Christ, our Life and Source of immortality, Helper of all visible and invisible creatures, co-eternal with the Father, co-existent with Him without beginning, many times for our salvation in these last days didst enter into flesh, wast crucified, and wast buried for us, unworthy and sinful, renewing by Thy blood our nature corrupted through sin: Thou, O Immortal King, receive my sinful confession, incline Thine ear to me, and hear my words: I have sinned, O Lord, I have sinned against Thee and before Thee, and am not worthy to look upon the height of Thy glory: I provoked Thy goodness by transgressing Thy commandments and disobeying Thy commands. But Thou, O merciful, long-suffering, and full of compassion, didst not deliver me over to destruction with my unrighteousness, but hast willed all to be saved, in truth and righteousness. Therefore, though I am unworthy of all earth, and these temporal days, having burdened myself with sin, defiling Thy image: yet as Thine creation and work, I do not despair of my salvation, relying on Thy boundless mercy. Receive me, O Lover of mankind, as a harlot, as a robber, as a tax-gatherer, and as a sinner, bearing my heavy burden of sins, the sin of this world, and healing the weakness of human nature, striving and being burdened, calling upon Thee and comforting, not coming to call the righteous, but sinners for repentance: cleanse me from all uncleanness of body and spirit, and teach me to fulfill Thy commandments in Thy passion: that with a pure conscience I may receive part of Thy commandments, joining my body and blood with Thine, and have Thee living and abiding in me, with Thy Father and Spirit. Thou, O Lord Jesus Christ, receive me, and let not my participation in the precious and life-giving mysteries of Thy sacraments be in judgment, nor let me be weak in soul and body, unworthy to partake thereof: but grant that even until the end of my days I may receive a portion of Thy commandments, in common fellowship, as an inheritance of eternal life, and in the blessed light at Thy fearful judgment: for with all those whom Thou hast prepared to love Thee, O Lord, shall I be among the uncorrupted, glorified with Thee forever. Amen.

Mercy to thee, O venerable John the Golden-mouthed:

O Lord my God, I know, indeed, that I am not worthy and insufficient to enter into the sanctuary of my soul today, for it is wholly empty and desolate; and there is no place within me that is meet and fitting for Thee to bow Thine head: but as Thou didst humble Thyself from on high for our sakes, so also now humiliate Thyself with my humility. And even as Thou wast received in the manger and heard the voiceless cries of the beasts: thus receive also into the voiceless cries of my soul, and into my defiled body. And even as Thou wast not worthy to enter and to be glorified with the sinners in Simon the leper's house: so also Thou didst will to enter and dwell within the humility of my soul, which is leprous and sinful. And even as Thou didst not anoint a like sinner and a sinful woman who came and touched Thee: thus also Thou dost forgive me, O Sinful one, coming to Thee and touching Thee. And even as Thou didst not cleanse the foul and unclean lips of those who healed Thee: so also I cleanse my foul and unclean lips and my foul and unclean hands, and the most foul and unclean tongue of mine. But let me be a coal from Thy furnace, and the tidings of Thy blood, in cleansing, illumination, health, and the humility of my soul and body, in alleviation of many of my sins, in keeping from all evil work of the devil, in quenching and forbidding my sinful and crafty custom, in the death of passions, in the supply of Thy commandments, in the application of Thy divine grace, and in the possession of Thy kingdom. For Thou dost not despise the coming to Thee of Thy people, but daringly relying on Thine ineffable goodness: and let me not be separated from Thy communion by much thoughtless wolfishness.

Therefore I pray Thee: as One alone holy, keep my soul and body, heart and bowels, and all of me, renewing in Me the fear of Thee in My hands, making unshakeable within me the cleansing of Thee: and be Thou my helper and intercessor, feeding me with life today, worthy to stand before Thee with Thy saints: by Thy prayers and supplications, and by Thy unspeakable servants and mighty powers, and all Thy saints, who have blessed Thee from everlasting. Amen.
