Yirmos: Without beginning, Parent of the Son, God and Lord, becoming incarnate from the Virgin for our salvation, darkened yet enlightened: by this we all sing to Thee the Theotokos with great reverence.

Припѣ́въ: Прест҃а́ѧ бцⷣе, сп҃сѝ на́съ. Бг҃ъ воплоти́сѧ ѿ чⷭ҇тыхъ крове́й твои́хъ, тѣ́мже всѧ́кїй ро́дъ пое́тъ тѧ̀ влⷣчце, ѹ҆́мнаѧ же мно́жєства сла́вѧтъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ тобо́ю ꙗ҆́вѣ ѹ҆зрѣ́ша всѣ́ми влⷣчествꙋющаго, ѡ҆сꙋществова́вшагосѧ чл҃вѣ́чествомъ.

Purify my heart, O Lord, and renew in me a right spirit. The Theotokos is; taste and see: behold for us His ancient and only-begotten Son, Who offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice for our sake, that He might sanctify those who partake by His very essence and dwelling within them.

Do not cast me off from Thy face, nor let Thine holy Spirit depart from me. By soul and body may I be sanctified, enlightened, saved, becoming a temple of Thine through the reception of the divine mysteries, abiding in Thee with the Theotokos as our eternal home, O Giver of every blessing.

Grant me joy in Thy salvation, and establish my house by Thy Lady. As fire is to me, and as light is Thy body, and precious blood is my ransom: consuming sinful flesh, burning away the thorns of passions, and enlightening all of me, I will prostrate myself before Thee, O Lord.

O Theotokos, save us. God Incarnate from thy pure blood, by which every creature sings to Thee, and the multitude glorifies Thee, for through Thee we have seen with our own eyes Him who was manifested in human form.
