Yirmos: Without beginning, Parent of the Son, God and Lord, becoming incarnate from the Virgin for our salvation, enlightening that which was darkened, gathering together what had been scattered: therefore we all with one voice glorify Thee, O Theotokos.
Припѣ́въ: Се́рдце чи́сто сози́жди во мнѣ̀ бж҃е, и҆ дꙋ́хъ пра́въ ѡ҆бновѝ во ѹ҆тро́бѣ мое́й. Припѣ́въ: Прест҃а́ѧ бцⷣе, сп҃сѝ на́съ. Бг҃ъ воплоти́сѧ ѿ чⷭ҇тыхъ крове́й твои́хъ, тѣ́мже всѧ́кїй ро́дъ пое́тъ тѧ̀ влⷣчце, ѹ҆́мнаѧ же мно́жєства сла́вѧтъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ тобо́ю ꙗ҆́вѣ ѹ҆зрѣ́ша всѣ́ми влⷣчествꙋющаго, ѡ҆сꙋществова́вшагосѧ чл҃вѣ́чествомъ.
**Choir Response:** A pure heart fashion Thee in me, O Lord, and a right spirit renew within my womb. Jesus Christ is the true taste: taste and see; for He who was ancient of days, before us, offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice, that by His Body we might be sanctified, cleansed, enlightened, and made Thy dwelling through partaking of the divine mysteries, living in Thee and with Thee, O Goodly Giver.
**Choir Response:** Do not cast me off from Thy face, nor let Thy saintly age depart from me. By soul and body may I be sanctified, enlightened, saved, becoming Thy house by partaking of the sacred mysteries, dwelling in Thee and with Thee, O Goodly Giver, full of mercy.
**Choir Response:** Give me joy of Thy salvation, and establish my home in Thee. As fire is to me, and as light is Thy body, and as precious blood of mine: quenching the corruptible flesh, burning away the thorns of passions, and enlightening all things, I shall prostrate myself before Thy divinity.
**Choir Response:** O Theotokos, save us. God Incarnate from thy pure blood, by which every creature praises Thee, and the multitude glorifies Thee, for through Thee we saw with the eyes of faith Him who was made man.
