We sing thy holy power, O Saviour, and glorify thy resurrection.
Blessed art Thou, O Preserver, and Slayer of death, Raiser of the dead, O Our Life, God, make our life in Thee to flourish, for Thou alone art mighty.
Adá plěnivy, i člověk voskrésivý, voskrěsnjémę tvojímę Khriste, spodóbi nás čistýmъ sérdemъ, tebe pěti i slaviti.
Glory be to Thy merciful descent, O Theotokos. Thou wast born of two, and wast not separated from the Spirit; Thou sufferedst as a man, and by Thy will enduredst the spear, wast raised from the grave, having come forth from the grave as from the clutches of death that Thou mightest save the world, whereunto be glory to Thee.
When Thou wast pierced on the cursed wood of the cross, then didst Thou die the death of Thy enemies: the creation trembled with fear at Thy majesty; and hell was taken captive by Thy power: Thou hast raised the dead from their graves, and didst cast down into hell the robber: O Theotokos, glory be to Thee.
Weeping with great longing at the tomb of Thee, O Lord, hast come to the most holy women; and having found the tomb open, and having been led by angels to a new and glorious wonder, they announced it to the apostles: "For Thou hast risen, O Lord, granting peace to the world with Thy mighty power."
Strētey tvoikh boguśtennymŭ gvaźvamŭ poklanyemse khriste, iyevež v syoně vlčne sšennodějstviu, na konec věkōv bgahoavlenně byvšemŭ: ibo vo tьmě spаšyа, slnce prosvitи pravdy, kъ nevečerně naставlěyа syanyу; gdye sлаva tebe.
Beloved, even though the Jewish mind hath been instilled with this, that they came to Pilate and said: "Tell the watchmen of the soldiers where are those who sealed the tomb; where was the dead one laid aside; where was the unsold one sold; how was the hidden treasure stolen; what will ye deceive the rising insurrection of lawless Jews? He hath risen from the dead, and giveth to the world great mercy."
