I cried out the stichera to the Lord.
Come, let us rejoice in the Lord, who crushed the power of death and enlightened the human race, calling with the bodiless: Our Creator and Savior, glory to Thee.
Theotokos.
Thou art known to the Mother more than nature, the Mother of God, and Thou art the Virgin above words and reason: and the tongue cannot tell the miracle of Thy Nativity. I am glorified because I am born pure, the image of birth is incomprehensible: if God wants, the order of nature is overcome. Moreover, the Mother of God knows all things, we pray to You diligently, pray for our souls to be saved.
You appeared as a Mother above nature, Mother of God, and remained a Virgin above words and understanding; language cannot explain the miracle of Your birth. Just as Your conception, O Pure One, was miraculous, so the image of your birth is incomprehensible; for where God wills, there the order of nature is overcome. Therefore, all of us, recognizing You as the Mother of God, we ask You earnestly, pray for the salvation of our souls.
Stichera on verse.
Thou hast risen from the grave, Savior of the world, and hast raised up mankind with Thy flesh: Lord, glory to Thee.
Troparion.
Thou hast destroyed death by Thy cross, Thou hast opened paradise to the thief, Thou hast offered to mourn the myrrh-bearers, and Thou hast commanded the Apostle to preach that Thou art risen, O Christ God, granting great mercy to the world.
Prokeimenon.
Arise, O Lord my God, may Your hand be exalted; do not forget Your poor to the end (Ps. 9:33).
Irmosy.
1. By Your mania, the previously manifold watery nature, Lord, was transformed into an earthly image. Moreover, Israel, walking without faith, sings a song of victory to You.
3. In the beginning, establish the heavens with Your omnipotent Word, O Lord the Savior, and with the omnipotent and Divine Spirit, establish all their power: establish Your confession on the immovable stone of me.
4. You did not forsake the Father’s bosom, but came down to earth, O Christ God, and heard the mystery of Your looking, and glorified You, the only Lover of Mankind.
5. The night is dark for the unfaithful, O Christ, but enlightenment for the faithful is in the sweetness of Your words: for this reason I come to You in the morning, and I sing praises to Your Divinity.
6. Floating in the rumors of worldly cares, with the ship sunk by sins and swept away by the strangling beast, like Jonah, Christ, crying to Thee: raise me up from the deadly depths.
7. The furnace of the youth showed the fiery of old, flowing dew, praising the only God and saying: exalted is God of the fathers and glorified.
8. Unburned, communed with the fire in Sinai, the bush of God revealed to the slow-tongued and humming Moses: and the three youths, the zeal of God, three unconquerable in the fires, singers of the show: all the works of the Lord, sing to the Lord and exalt to all ages.
9. Who did not give birth to corruption through temptation, and who gave flesh to the all-deceitful Word, Mother without art, the Virgin Mother of God: the companion of the unbearable, the village of the inconceivable Creator, We magnify You. By Thy wave, O Lord, the waters, which formerly flowed easily by nature, received the solidity of the earth. Therefore, Israel, who passed (between them) without getting their feet wet, sings a song of victory to You.
In the beginning, Who founded the heavens with Your omnipotent Word, Lord Savior, and all their power with the Almighty and Divine Spirit! Establish me on the immovable rock of Your confession.
Who did not leave the bosom of the Father and came down to earth, O Christ God! I heard the mystery of Your economy, and glorified You, the only Lover of Mankind.
The night is not light for the unbelievers, O Christ, but for the believers it is light at Thy sweet words; Therefore, in the morning I turn to You in prayer and glorify Your Divinity.
Like Jonah, I appeal to You, Christ: raise me, floating in the waves of worldly cares, drowned by the burden of sins and cast down to the soul-destroying beast, from the deadly depths.
Once the youths showed the fiery cave covered with dew, chanting the one God and saying: You are the God of the fathers, exalted and glorified.
A fireproof bush, engulfed in fire, at Sinai revealed God to the tongue-tied and slurred Moses; and zeal for God showed the three youths to be singers unburnt in the fire: all the creations of the Lord, sing praises to the Lord and exalt them to all ages.
Who gave birth without experiencing corruption, and who gave flesh to the Creator of all, the Word, the Mother who did not know a husband, the Virgin Theotokos, the container of the incontainable, the abode of Thy infinite Creator, We magnify You.
At the liturgy the prokeimenon.
The Lord will give strength to His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace (Ps. 28:11).
