This day the light has risen, the city of Beloezero rejoices,/ having in its area the great lamp, the blessed father Herodion:/ it has flourished, like a phoenix, planted in the house of the Mother of God,/ like a cedar, which grew by the grace of Christ by the waters,/ like a fragrant thorn,/ protected from circumstances by the waters./ People who have come together celebrate his blessed memory,/ are illuminated many blessings and miracles:/ to those who ask with faith for healing,/ to those suffering from various ailments he gives health./ And we, your children, fall down and pray to you:/ pray to the Most Holy Trinity, / so that our city may be preserved from the presence of foreigners / and from enemies, visible and invisible. / For by your prayers to the Lord, Father, / we always ask with faith you // pray for us, Christ God, that our souls may be saved.
