Like a tree in the desert of David, you flourished, Father Cyril, / uprooting the thorns of evil, / and you gathered a multitude of disciples in it, / through the fear of God and your teaching those who were instructed, / whom even to the end, like a loving father, / you did not abandon, visiting you, and we all cry out: / glory to Him who gave you strength, / glory to Him who crowned you, / glory to Him who works for you with all healing.
