Our good shepherd and mentor, Rev. Father Anthony! You, who are still in the flesh, are controlled by the divine beckoning, ancient Rome, your fatherland, and you left your family, and from there you, miraculously, across the waters on stone, like on a light ship, with your coming you illuminated this city, and in it you erected the church of the Mother of God, through your labors and you have enlightened this monastery with your deeds (the very foundation of which you were), you have multiplied your children in it, instructing them in the image of good deeds and teaching: for this, for the sake of the incorruption of your relics and miracles, God glorify you with radiance; more miraculous than thy race and thy might, pray with the lips and the hearts of those who kiss. Even now, as if you had boldness towards the Lord Christ, be a prayer book and an intercessor about your upcoming troubles, those who worship with your honest power and ask for your merciful intercession.
To her, we pray to you, servant of Christ and saint, our heads and hearts bow to you: do not despise this poor prayer of ours, but look upon us mercifully, fulfilling every need, health to the sick, prosperity to those traveling along the way, granting quick and comfortable voyage to those who sail: save this monastery from all troubles that suddenly appear, and those who live and work in it, and those who benefit them, from all misfortunes, freedom: may we all live on earth pleasingly to God through your prayers, and we will be heirs [heirs] of the Heavenly Kingdom, worthy to glorify the All-Holy Trinity of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
