To You, Most Holy Lady Theotokos, we resort to Your unworthy servants: You, the Most Gracious One, are the only gentle and omnipotent one to Your Son, Christ our God, the Intercessor for us sinners and the shameless Representative. Weigh that His goodness, through the transgression of His Divine commandments, is extremely bitter: for there is no sin, which we have not created, all the fear of God is trampled upon: for this reason, for the sake of both the Spirit of grace and the gift of prenatural sonhood, we rejected, and every aversion and execution worthy of creation was created. Weigh, Offering to the Intercessor, for we have given up Thy mercy and gifts in the madness of oblivion, and have committed unworthy acts of Thy mercy. How about You, Lady Theotokos, strive to the supplication of Your Son and our God to show correction from the evil ones with your promise! But as a liege of damnation, and Your swearing at Him for our sinful representation and intercession, we were imputed to nothing, and so we showed ourselves in great ingratitude and malice, and now bearing our coldness and lowering ourselves, look upon Your most pure image, worthy of being, in repentance before Him.

In the same way we say: We, Lady, how much can Your motherly boldness towards Christ our God: We, like no one else, come running to You, O Compassionate One, with repentance and tenderness, You were put to shame, or call upon You, Most Pure One, not heard from You from your departure: For Thy Son honors You, Bride of God, like Your Mother, graciously accept Your prayers. Have mercy on us, Thy indecent servants, and, in the name of fate, seek for the lost: enlighten our minds with the light of knowledge of God, so that once they are illuminated, we will cut off every evil thought and every form of shameless deeds, but with all our hearts we will love the commandments of the Lord and in them Let's begin to walk blamelessly. Also, O Lady, overthrow heretical rebellion, gather the scattered, return the lost to the one flock of Christ, support old age, bring understanding to the young, widows and orphans, heal the sick and comfort the sorrowing. Grant to our faithful and Christ-loving king strength against his enemies, protect his kingdom with peace and keep it unshakable forever: but grant us all success in faith and good deeds for a long time.

May our former fathers and brethren rest in the brightness of paradise and the villages of the righteous, and with them receive us all in repentance and confession, so that we, with all the saints, may glorify the most honorable name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
