Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнъ) and all is in Thee; Thou art the beginning and the end, the first and the last. To Thee be glory, now and ever, and to the Theotokos, and to Thy Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Against the unlawful command of the high tormentor, a flame of great heat rose up: but Jesus Christ, with His divine glory, stretched out His right hand upon the youthful servant of God, blessed and highly praised.

Thou didst not endure to see man suffering death for thy sake, but camest and didst save him by thy blood: Thou art blessed, and highly praised be God our Father.

Seeing Thee, O Lord, clothed in the garments of suffering, Thou didst astonish the gates of hell: for, O Master, Thou camest to slay the madness that tortureth the servant; and blessed and highly praised be God, Thy Father, our King.

O Theotokos,

Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

O Soul/Spirit, O most wise of the prophets: For God's holy words Thou hast spoken with Thy mouth; therefore, O Eternal Father and our God, blessed art Thou.

O Judge of the ancient proclaimer in the hearing of food: but by thy will thou art judged, O Thou who releasest from transgression, O Most High Father God, and most glorified.

With the tongue of envy, O Soul of the murderer, in free utterance: freely didst thou speak, O Most Holy Father, and art glorified.

Wandering in the chambers of mortality, Thou didst call me to the light, O dark-adorned hell, by Thy blinding glory, O ever-blessed Father of God, and most glorified.

Airmos toyezh.

Having seen in the night, as Jacob did, how the Light of God shone upon him with singers: O Most Glorious Father of God, and greatly praised.

Known are the tokens wherein in thee not spoken manifestation of the unutterable vision, wrestling with Jacob: by thy will art thou united with man reading: most holy Father God, and greatly glorified.

Loathsome is he who doth not preach Thy double-edged Sword, the One from Whom proceedeth the Triune God with unshakeable faith, and by His tongue crieth: Eternal Father of God, and highly praised.
