O Soul/Spirit, in compunction of heart we cry to Thee:
unto Thee do we pour out our petitions,
for Thou art the Life, and without Thee there is no life.
Through Thee we are saved from sudden death;
by Thy power we overcome all adversities.
For Thou art our Deliverer and our Refuge,
and in Thee we find rest and peace.
Therefore let us with one voice cry to Thee:
unto Thee do we lift up our hearts.
God's commandment against the unjust condemnation of the martyr was high as a flaming fire: Jesus Christ, with divine glory, rose up to the Son of God, receiving blessing and highly praised.
Thou didst not endure to see man suffering death for thy sake, but camest and didst save him by Thy blood: Thou art blessed, O Saviour, and glorified be God our Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Seeing Thee, O Jesus Christ, clothed in the garments of suffering, Thou didst astonish the gates of hell: for, O Master, Thou camest to slay the tyrant of madness; blessed and highly praised be God our Father.
O Theotokos,
Státhy stě́yshyu pravímu rúmějem, Ꙇ́kow édínu rožďšyu bğà nepremě́nnagu, dvó snkvérnaę, mtì beinevéstnagu: vcálem bo véřnymi ístochila ísì nešté́lénije, bzhéóstveným rzhàtvóm tvoím.

Irimos:
O Lord, our God, Thou who art of ineffable majesty and incomprehensible glory, Who dwellest in unapproachable light, and whose garments are as fire, and Thy body as the sun, give us to behold Thee with pure eyes. For Thou art the Life, and Thou givest life; Thou art the Light, and Thou shinest upon all men; Thou art the Truth, and Thou hast revealed the way of salvation. Therefore, we cry to Thee: Save us, O Lord our God!
O Soul, thou art sanctified; O understanding, most wise of ancient times: For with the lips thou hast glorified God, and with thy mouth hast begun to be established: The Most High, our Father, blessed be Thou.
Judge the ancient prophet who in the eating of food heard obedience: but by thy will was judged, O Most Merciful Father God, having released from transgression the transgressor, and highly praised.
Spas slěpě znávist'iu člověkoúbyiči, vědémě vól'nymu ugrézén'iu: vól'nou bo strět't'iu iácěliĺ slěpě, prebjazh'éstvenni otče Boži, i predproslávlen.
Wandering in the chambers of death, Thou didst call me to the light, O dark-adorned hell, by Thy shining array, O Most Glorious Father of God, and highly praised.
And Thee, O Lord.
This hymn of that same strain.
Having seen in the night, as Jacob did, how the Light of God shone upon him with singers: Most Glorious Father of God, and greatly praised.
Known are the tokens wherein in thee not spoken manifestation of the unutterable vision wrestleth: for with Jacob doth it struggleth; and by thy will is man united: O Most High Father God, and highly praised.
Loathsome is he who doth not preach Thy double-edged Sword, the One from Whom proceedeth the Triune God with unshakeable faith, and by His tongue crieth: Eternal Father of God, and highly praised.
