O Soul of Him who is God and Man, O Life of the Father and the Spirit, O Brightness of the Eternal Light, O Pure Incarnation of the Virgin, O Flower of the Jesse Tree, O Resurrection of the Dead, by Thee all things are sanctified; come to us and save us as Thou art merciful.
Glory:
Thou art the Light darkened, Thou art the Resurrection of all, and life of men, and didst raise up all, holding in Thy deathly power, and didst crush the gates of Hades with Thy Word: and the dead beheld a wonder of wonders, and every creature rejoiceth at Thy resurrection, O Lover of mankind. Therefore we all glorify Thee and sing Thy descent, and peace doth praise Thee evermore.
