O Soul of Him Who is to come in the clouds,
Thou art more fair than the daughters of men;
More glorious and fairer than the daughters of Selah.
For who is like unto Thee, O Virgin Theotokos?
Thou art the Bride of God, Thou art the Spouse of Christ,
Thou art the Mother of God, Thou art the Handmaid of the Lord.
Therefore, with Angels we magnify Thee:
O full of grace, O our Life, O our Redeemer, O Holy Mountain Zion.
Воскрⷭ҇лъ є҆сѝ ѿ гро́ба всеси́льне сп҃се, и҆ а҆́дъ ви́дѣвъ чꙋ́до, ᲂу҆жасе́сѧ, и҆ ме́ртвїи воста́ша: тва́рь же ви́дѧщи сра́дꙋетсѧ тебѣ̀, и҆ а҆да́мъ свесели́тсѧ, и҆ мі́ръ сп҃се мо́й воспѣва́етъ тѧ̀ при́снѡ.
Raising Thee from the grave with mighty power, and Hell saw a wonder, trembling and departed: the dead arose; and seeing Thy face, man rejoices, and Adam is glad, and my world sings Thee forever.

Thou art the Light darkened, Thou art the Resurrection of all, and life of men, and didst raise up all dead, holding in Thy deathly power, smiting the gates of Hades with Thy Word: and the dead beheld a wonder, and every creature rejoiceth at Thy resurrection, O Lover of mankind. Wherefore we all glorify Thee and sing Thy descent, and peace doth praise Thee evermore.
