Конда́къ, гла́съ в҃:
When the All-holy Theotokos, in the fulness of time, brought forth for us the Life, and gave Him to the world, then did the Creator of all, by His own ineffable will, become a little Child, and was wrapped in swaddling clothes. And He lay in a manger, as a Stranger in a strange land, that He might teach us to be strangers in this world. Therefore, let us with compunction of heart, cry to Him: O Lover of Mankind, have mercy on us!
Воскрⷭ҇лъ є҆сѝ ѿ гро́ба всеси́льне сп҃се, и҆ а҆́дъ ви́дѣвъ чꙋ́до, ᲂу҆жасе́сѧ, и҆ ме́ртвїи воста́ша: тва́рь же ви́дѧщи сра́дꙋетсѧ тебѣ̀, и҆ а҆да́мъ свесели́тсѧ, и҆ мі́ръ сп҃се мо́й воспѣва́етъ тѧ̀ при́снѡ.
Resurrexisti de sepulchri omnipotentem spes,
et ad videndum mirum Adam vidit,
et mortui vasta sunt:
visaque contemplantes laetabuntur tibi,
et homo lætabitur,
et mundus salutis meae psallat te semper.

Ты̀ є҆сѝ свѣ́тъ ѡ҆мрачє́ннымъ, ты̀ є҆сѝ воскрⷭ҇нїе всѣ́хъ, и҆ живо́тъ человѣ́кѡвъ, и҆ всѣ́хъ совоскр҃си́лъ є҆сѝ, сме́ртнꙋю держа́вꙋ сп҃се разо́рь, и҆ а҆́дѡва врата̀ сокрꙋши́вый сло́ве: и҆ ме́ртвїи ви́дѣвше чꙋ́до чꙋдѧ́хꙋсѧ, и҆ всѧ́ка тва́рь сра́дꙋетсѧ ѡ҆ воскр҃се́нїи твое́мъ чл҃вѣколю́бче. тѣ́мже и҆ всѝ сла́вимъ и҆ пое́мъ твоѐ снизхожде́нїе, и҆ мі́ръ сп҃се мо́й, воспѣва́етъ тѧ̀ при́снѡ.
Thou art the Light enshrouded, Thou art the Resurrection of all, and Life of men, and Thou didst raise up all, holding in Thy deathly power, the gates of Hades smitten with Thy Word: and the dead beholding a wonder marvelled, and every creature rejoiceth at Thy resurrection, O Lover of mankind. Wherefore we all glorify Thee and sing Thy descent, and peace doth praise Thee evermore.
