O Lord, have mercy on us, O Lord: for all our sins we pray to Thee with unworthiness; as sinners we offer unto Thee this prayer: have mercy on us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
O Lord, have mercy on us, for in Thee we hope: let not Thine anger burn against us, nor remember our sins against us; but look upon us now with a good heart, and deliver us from our enemies: Thou art God our King, and we Thy people, all our works by Thy hand, and to Thee we cry. And now and for ever.
Amen.
The doors of the sanctuary open for us, O Blessed Theotokos: trusting in Thee that we may not perish, but be delivered through Thee from tribulations: Thou art the salvation of the race of Christians.
O Lord, have mercy. [v.]

For Thine is the kingdom, and power, and glory, Father, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

O All-powerful, Word of God, most perfect, O Jesus Christ, ever holy Theotokos, never have Thou abandoned Thy servant in vain desires and the will of the enemy, but always abide within me.
O Ever-blessed Shepherd of Thy people, do not deliver me to deceit and treachery; and let me not be left to the desire of Satan, for indeed sevenfold deceit is within me.
Thou art ever adored by the holy Theotokos, O Jesus Christ, ever holy God, sleeping Thou didst preserve me with an unquenchable light in Thy holy home, wherein Thou didst rest as Thy Teacher.
Grant also to me, Thy unworthy servant, peace on my couch: enlighten my soul with Thy light of understanding, love Thee with a loving heart, and let the word of Thy mouth be a heart of faith within me; preserve my body by Thy passionless strength: keep my thoughts in Thy humility, and raise me up at the time to be like Thy glorious praise for ever. Amen.

O Lord, heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, have mercy on me, a sinner, and forgive me, who am unworthy; and blot out my sins, both those that I know and those that I do not know: from the time of my youth, and from the days of my ignorance, and whatsoever else is of sin. For even in thought I have blasphemed Thee, and spoken evil of Thee; and I have grieved others with my wickedness; and I have been angry for no cause, and have lied, and have ploughed without purpose: and I have despised the poor who came to me; and I have troubled my brother, and my sister, and I have judged some: and I have quarreled, and I have grown proud, and I have been envious: and when praying, I have moved with my wickedness against Thee in this world: and I have had evil thoughts, and I have despised the good, and by that I was pierced in heart: and I have spoken unseemly words, and I have mocked my brother’s sin, for mine are countless sins: and I have not prayed with diligence, and I know not what else I have done wickedly. For all these and more, O Lord, my Creator, Master, forgive me Thy unworthy servant; and leave me not, but blot out, and forgive me, for Thou art good and lover of mankind: that I may lie down in peace, rest, and sleep, O sinner, sinful and miserable. And I will prostrate myself, and praise Thee, and glorify Thy most holy Name, with the Father and the Son, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
҆҆ Мл҃тва д҃, ст҃а́гѡ мака́рїа вели́кагѡ:

What hast thou brought, or what wilt thou give, O great-gifted immortal King, most bountiful and loving of souls; for having been idle in thy desire, and doing nothing good, thou didst bring me to the end of this day's journey, turning and saving my soul. Be mindful of my sinfulness, O sinful one, and be naked before all my evil deeds: raise up my fallen soul, which was defiled by countless sins, and let all my thoughts in this life be openly seen. Forgive my transgressions, only Thou who art without sin, for I have sinned today knowingly and unknowingly, by word, deed, thought, and all my feelings. Thyself cover me from every opposing resistance with thine unspeakable loving-kindness and power. Purify Thee, O God, the multitude of my sins. Willingly grant me deliverance from the nets of the crafty one, save my sinful soul, and enlighten me with the light of thy face when thou comest in glory: and let not my sleep be unseasonable now, nor with thoughts; and keep the thought of Thy servant undefiled, and all the satanic creature from me. Enlighten our understanding hearts, that we may not fall into death. And send us an angel of peace, guardian and instructor of soul and body, that he may deliver me from my enemies: and when I arise with my spirit, bring to Thee my thanksgiving prayers. Hearken Thou, O God, to Thy sinful and holy servant, by will and conscience: give me understanding through thy words to learn, and let the evil spirits be driven far away from me by thy angels: and bless Thou my standing, and glorify, praise, and magnify the most Holy Theotokos, who gave us a sinless intercession for the sinful, and receive this praying one for us: for we know that Thy loving-kindness doth not cease, and I pray continually. By this intercession, and by the sign of thy cross, and all thy saints' sake, keep Thou my holy soul in our midst: for thou art, and art glorified to the ages. Amen.
