O Lord, have mercy on us, O Lord: for all our sins we pray Thee with unwavering faith, offering to Thee this prayer through Thy Master: have mercy on us. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. O Lord, have mercy on us, for in hope we have placed our trust: do not be angry with us nor remember our transgressions, but look upon us now as a merciful Father, and deliver us from our enemies: for Thou art God our King, and we Thy people, all our works being by Thine hand, and to Thee we cry. And now and forever. Amen.
The gates of death have been opened for us, O Blessed Theotokos: trusting in Thee that we may not perish but be delivered through Thee from tribulations: for Thou art the salvation of the race of Christians. O Lord, have mercy. [v.]

O Lord, eternal and King of all creation, having vouchsafed me even in this hour to come to Thee, forgive me my sins which I have committed today, by deed, word, and thought: and cleanse, O Lord, my humble soul from every stain of body and spirit, and give me, O Lord, a peaceful sleep this night: that rising from my humble bed with the blessing of Thy name upon me throughout all the days of my life, and overcoming those who fight against me, both bodily and spiritual, Thou mayest deliver me, O Lord, from vain thoughts which defile me, and from the lusts of the wicked.
As Thine is the kingdom, and power, and glory, Father, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

O All-Ruling One, Word of the Most High, most perfect in Thyself, O Jesus Christ, many times have I sought mercy from Thee, but Thou hast never ceased to abide within me. Rather, be ever present in my heart, O Good Shepherd of Thine sheep. Do not deliver me into the hands of those who would corrupt me, and do not abandon me to the desire of Satan, for indeed sevenfold corruption dwells within me.
Thou art invoked by the Lord, O Holy Theotokos, sleeping Thou didst preserve me with an unquenchable light in Thy holy home, wherein Thou didst rest. Teach me, O unworthy servant of Thine, to receive Thy peace upon my bed: enlighten my soul with the light of Thy wisdom, love Thee with a pure heart, and seal my heart with Thy words, that my body may be by Thy passionless strength without passions. Preserve my thoughts in Thy humility, and raise me up at the time like unto Thine unending praise for ever.
Amen.

Ґми́нь.
O Lord, heavenly King, Comforter, O Spirit of Truth, Thou hast humbled Thyself, and hast pitied me, the sinful servant of Thine, and hast forgiven me my unworthiness, and hast blotted out all my transgressions, both those of youth and ignorance, and those of pride and deceit. Even though I have called upon Thee in my thoughts, even though I have blasphemed Thee; even though I have injured anyone with my thoughts, even though I have slandered someone with my anger, even though I have saddened them; even though I have been provoked by something, even though I have lied, even though I have worked without purpose; even though a poor man has come to me, and I have despised him; even though I have grieved my brother, and my bride, and someone whom I judged; even though I have quarreled, and grown proud, and been angered; even though I have stood in prayer with my sin, moving under the influence of the world's deceit; even though I have had unseemly thoughts, and have sinned, and have laughed without cause; even though I have thought wickedly, and have seen goodness as foreign to me, and by this I was pierced in heart; even though I have spoken improperly, and have mocked my brother’s sin, for mine are countless transgressions: even though I have not prayed with diligence, and even though I have done other evil things which I do not remember. For all these and more, O Creator of my soul, Thou who art unworthy before Thee, forgive me, Thy servant: and leave me not, but blot out, and forgive me, for Thou art good and lover of mankind: that I may lie down in peace, sleep and rest, the sinner, the sinful and penitent one: and I will prostrate myself, and praise Thee, and glorify Thy most holy name, with the Father and the Only-begotten Son, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

What hast thou brought, or what wilt thou give, O great-gifted immortal King, most bountiful and loving of souls; for having been idle in thy desire, and doing nothing good, thou didst bring me to the end of this day's journey, turning and saving my soul. Be mindful of my sinfulness and nakedness in all my works of goodness: raise up my fallen soul, which was defiled by countless sins, and let all my evil thoughts be visible in this life. Forgive my sins, O only sinless One, who didst sin on this day, knowingly or unknowingly, by word, deed, thought, and all my feelings. Thou thyself coverest me from every opposing resistance with thine ineffable love and power. Cleanse, O Lord, the multitude of my sins. Willingly grant me deliverance from the nets of the evil one, save my suffering soul, and enlighten me with the light of thy face when thou comest in glory: and let not my sleep be unseasoned today, nor my thoughts unworthy of thee: and keep the mind of thy servant pure, and all the works of Satan away from me. Enlighten our understanding hearts, that we may not fall into death. Send us an angel of peace, guardian and instructor of soul and body, that he may save me from my enemies: when I arise with my spirit, bring to thee my thankful prayers. Hear, O Lord, thy sinful and righteous servant, by will and conscience: give me to learn by thy words, and let the evil spirits be driven far away from me by thy angels: and bless thou my steadfast Theotokos, and glorify her, and praise her most holy Virginity, which gave us a covering for our sins, and receive this praying one on our behalf: for we know that thy lovingkindness doth not cease, and I pray continually. By this covering, and by the precious seal of thy saints, and all thy hymns, keep my holy soul with thine own: for thou art, and art glorified to the ages. Amen.
