Μετεμορφώθης ἐν τῷ ὄρει, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεός, δείξας τοῖς Μαθηταῖς σου, τὴν δόξαν σου καθὼς ἠδύναντο· λάμψον καὶ ἡμῖν τοῖς ἁμαρτωλοῖς, τὸ φῶς σου τὸ ἀΐδιον, πρεσβείαις τῆς Θεοτόκου, Φωτοδότα δόξα σοι.
Thou art transfigured on the mountain, O Christ God, showing to Thy disciples Thy glory, as unto man, that Thy ever-present light may shine upon us, sinners, through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Light-Giver, glory to you.
You were transfigured on the mountain, O Christ God, and showed your glory to your disciples as far as possible. Shine upon us, sinners, with Thy eternal light, through the intercession of the Mother of God! Giver of Light, glory to You!
