Victory hast Thou, O Christ, over hell,
Whereto Thou didst descend:
That in the darkness of death sitting,
Thou mightest raise us with Thee,
And in the dead give freedom,
Springing forth from Thy own light,
All-powerful Saviour, have mercy on us.

Stichos: Men'eждut' prvnicy, dondeje vozdaşi mně.

Dnes Christos smert' poprav, /
gakozhe retch'e, voskres', /
i radovanie mirui darova, /
da vsi vzывauyuche, pesn' takva rce'm: /
Istochnicche zhizni, nепristupnyi svet', /
vsesilne spas', pomiluy nas'.

Stichos: And from the depths I have called to Thee, O Lord, Thou who hearest the voice of my supplication.

Thee, O Lord, that livest in all thy creatures,
we, sinful stones, flee before Thee;
in Thy holy heavens Thou dost abide,
in the depths of the abyss of hell didst Thou tread upon death,
there in the deeps of the sea was Thy hand stretched out.
To Thee we fly for refuge,
unto Thee we cast ourselves:
raise up and have mercy on us, O God, from among the dead.

And other stichera of the Anthonyleptic tone, of the same tone.

Stichos: Let thy soul minister in the hearing of my prayer, O Lord.

By Thy holy Incarnation, we glorify Thee, and sing of Thy Resurrection and praise: for Thou art God our King. How can we doubt Thee?

Stichos: If thou beholdest the unrighteous, O Lord, who shall stand before Thee? For Thy holy eyes are ever watchful.

Blessing Thee, O Lord, / we hymn Thy Resurrection: / for having endured, / Thou hast by death destroyed death.

Stichos: And in the Name of Thee, O Lord, I endured Thee, and my soul endured in Thy Word; my soul trusted in Thee.

Glory to Thy power, O Lord, / For Thou hast made death a feast for them that hold the dominion: / Thou hast renewed us by Thy Spirit, / granting us life and incorruption.

Stichos: By the watches of the evening until the morning, by the watches of the evening, let Israel pray to the Lord.

Buried art Thou, O Lord,
By the tongues of the damned, crushed and rent:
Whence by Thy Resurrection from the dead
The world was enlightened;
Thy glory, O Lord.

And other stichera of the Theotokos, composed by Paul of Amorey, tone 4:

Stichos: As the Spirit doth pray, and much deliverance from Him cometh to many, so He shall deliver Jesus Christ from all lawlessness.

Seeing my bodily weakness,
and soulful suffering,
and heartache of affection,
the divine visitation hath found me worthy,
O pure and blameless Lady,
save me, I beseech Thee,
with Thy warm prayers.

Hail Thee, O Lord, all tongues, and praise Him, all peoples.

All things have I passed before Thee, O Lady: but many of these wash Thou me with thy mercies, that I may receive the portion of thy mercy, O Lord, in the future judgment and Thy Kingdom.

Stichos: As though strengthened to pray for us, and truth abideth with Thee for ever.

My manifold transgressions, O Pure One, call upon me / with thy undefiled heart, / and the unceasing movements of my feelings, / pray with the sword of my supplication: / that by faith and love I may sing / thy seedless grain.

Glory to Thee, O God, and to Thy Christ, and to Thy Holy Spirit, both now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O Theotokos, the Gloria, saith the Psalm:
Who shall not bless thee in the assembly; / who shall not sing of thy holy conception? / For from thy womb thou didst receive the eternal Son; / by whom thou hast gone forth, / ineffably incarnate, / as God thy very nature, / and as man for our sake becoming a member, / not divided into two persons, / but known in His two natures inseparably. / Pray for us, all-holy Theotokos, / that Thou mayest have mercy on our souls.

The Suffering of the Holy Patriarch Sophronius, Bishop of Jerusalem.

O silent light of the holy Theotokos,
O immortal, heavenly Lady,
O blessed and glorious Jesus Christ,
Having come to the west of the sun,
Seeing the evening light,
We sing to Thee, O Mother, and Thy Son:
Thou art worthy at all times
To be sung by holy voices:
As Giver of life:
Therefore let the world glorify Thee.
