Victory hast Thou, O Christ, over hell,

Thou art with Thee, O Lord, in all Thy creatures, / sinful stones we flee; / in Thy heavens Thou livest, / in hell death didst overcome us, / in the depths of the seas; / there Thine hand, Master, doth reach out. / To Thee we flee, / prostrate before Thee we pray: / raise up and have mercy on us who are dead.

By Thy holy Incarnation, we glorify Thee,
And sing Thy Resurrection and praise it:
For Thou art God our King.
How can we doubt Thee, O Lord?

If thou beholdest the unrighteous, O Lord, who shall stand before Him? For Thy holy eyes have seen.

All hath I passed before Thee, O Lady, by my transgressions:
