Master Christ God, Who healed my passions with Your Passion and healed my ulcers with Your wounds, grant me, who have sinned much to You, tears of compunction, dissolve my body from the smell of Your life-giving Body, and delight my soul with Your honest Blood from sorrow, from which the enemy gave me a drink. Raise my mind to You, drawn down below, and lead me from the abyss of destruction, as I am not the imam of repentance, not the imam of tenderness, not the imam of consoling tears, leading children to their inheritance. My mind has been darkened by worldly passions, I cannot look to You in illness, I cannot warm myself with tears, even love for You, but, Lord Lord, Jesus Christ, Treasure of the Good, Grant me complete repentance and a laborious heart to seek Thy, grant me Thy grace, and renew in me the eyes of Thy image.

Forsaken Thee, do not forsake me, go forth to seek me, lead me to Thy pasture, and number me among the sheep of Thy chosen flock, raise me with them from the grain of Thy Divine sacraments, prayers of Your Most Pure Mother and all Your saints, amen. Master Christ God, who healed my passions with His sufferings and healed my ulcers with His wounds! Grant me, who have sinned much before You, tears of tenderness. Grant to my body to receive the fragrance of Your life-giving Body, and give to my soul the sweetness of Your precious Blood instead of the bitterness that the enemy fed me. Raise my mind, which has fallen to the ground, to You, and lift me out of the perilous abyss. For there is no repentance in me, there is no tenderness in me, there is no comforting tear in me that leads children to their inheritance. My mind has become darkened by worldly passions, in my illness I cannot look at You, I cannot warm myself with tears of love for You! But, Lord Jesus Christ, Treasury of good things!

Grant me complete repentance and a heart working with love in search of You, grant me Your grace and renew in me the features of Your image. I left You - don't leave me. Come out to look for me, bring me to Your pasture and introduce me to the sheep of Your chosen flock, raise me with them from the bread of Your Divine Sacraments, through the prayers of Your Most Pure Mother and all Your saints. Amen.

Psalm 143

Psalm to David, to Goliath.
Psalm of David, about Goliath, 143.

Blessed be the Lord my God, teach my hands to fight, my fingers to fight. My mercy and my refuge, my Protector and my Savior, my Defender, and in Him I have trusted: my people obey me. Lord, what is man that you knew him? Or the son of man, why do you count him? Man has become like vanity: his days pass away like darkness. Lord, bow down the heavens and come down and touch the mountains and they will rise up. Flash the lightning, and make me a wife; send forth Your arrows, and make me tumultuous. Send down Thy hand from on high, take away me, and deliver me from many waters, from the hand of the strange sons, whose lips speak vanity, and their right hand is the right hand of unrighteousness. God, I will sing a new song to You, in the ten-stringed psalter I sing to You, who gives salvation to the king, who delivers David His servant from the fierce sword. Deliver me, and pluck me from the hand of the strange sons, whose lips speak vanity, and their right hand is the right hand of unrighteousness. And their sons are like new plants planted in their youth.

Their daughters are enriched and adorned, like a church. Their storehouses are full, burping from this into this, their sheep are prolific, multiplying in their goings, their oxen are thick. There is no fall for the stronghold, below the passage, below the cry in their stacks. Please the people, which is what it is. Blessed are the people, even the Lord is their God. Blessed be the Lord my God, who strengthens my hands for battle, my fingers for battle! He is the source of mercy, my refuge, my Protector, my Deliverer, my Defender - I trust in Him; He makes my people subject to me. Lord, who is the man that you reveal yourself to him? Or the son of man, why do you care for him? The man is full of vanity; his days are running away like a shadow. Lord, bow down the heavens and come down! Touch the mountains and they will smoke! Flash lightning and scatter your enemies! Throw Your arrows and throw them into confusion! Stretch out Your hand from on high, deliver me, rescue me from many waters, from the hands of strangers, whose lips speak vain things, whose right hand is the right hand of unrighteousness!

God, I will sing a new song to You, on a ten-stringed psalter I will sing to You, For You grant salvation to kings, You deliver Your servant David from the fierce sword. Deliver me, take me out of the hands of strangers, whose lips spoke vain things, whose right hand is the right hand of unrighteousness! Their sons are young, like young trees rooted in the earth; their daughters are decorated like a church. Their granaries are overflowing, grain is spilling over the edge; their sheep are fruitful and multiply in their pastures; their oxen are fat. Their fence is not in danger of falling, nor can one cross it; and no screams are heard in their squares. A people is called happy if they possess all this, but truly blessed is the people who honor the Lord as their God.
